Hillary Clinton met with Britney Spears on Thursday in Las Vegas and got a glowing endorsement from the pop star.
And then lost it.
Spears posted a picture of herself with Clinton to her Instagram and said she had the “incredible opportunity” to meet with the former secretary of state who she called a “beautiful voice for women around the world.”
Spears ended her caption with the hashtag #ImWithHer.
But not long after, Spears edited the picture and removed the hashtag.
It has long been speculated that the Louisiana-raised pop star leans conservative. It’s likely she heard from fans that didn’t appreciate the nod to Clinton.
Whatever the reason, it didn’t go unnoticed.
