Donald Trump took a final shot at Sen. Ted Cruz after the rival candidate mentioned his victory in the Iowa caucus last week during his closing debate statement.
It was just the opening the billionaire businessman needed.
“That’s because he got Ben Carson’s votes, by the way,” Trump said in reference to the confusion during the caucus caused by CNN reporting Carson had dropped out and the Cruz campaign using the “news” for dirty campaigning.
