Late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel mocked the Christian faith of Republican presidential candidates Tuesday.
The skit depicted Jesus reading quotes from candidates on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”
“God is a very important part of this primary election,” Kimmel told the studio audience. “Most all of the candidates go out of their way to talk about the Bible and their faith.”
The host said he and his staff thought it would be “interesting” to hear the words of the candidates from the mouth of “Jesus.”
“These are things these guys actually said. Here they are,” Kimmel said. “The words of the candidates as read by Jesus himself.”
Can’t wait to see Kimmel offer a skit about Mohammed, soon.
