Just ahead of Monday’s Iowa caucus, Hillary Clinton said that if she were to be elected president, she wouldn’t allow her staff to take government emails as lightly as she did.
She told Iowa‘s WHOtv on Sunday that having a private email server was allowed when she did it, but that “the rules should change because of all of the confusion and the questions.”
Emailing classified information using a non-government email and server was never allowed… but why start caring about the truth now?
“We have another weekend here where people are kind seeing these fresh stories about the emails so help people understand some of this,” reporter David Price said. “Obviously there is a lot of confusion and everything about how this all went down and what it means and all that stuff. When you’re president, will you allow anyone to do what you did?”
“Well, it was allowed then, but I think the rules should change because of all of the confusion and the questions,” Clinton replied.
“The facts have remained the same. I took classification very seriously. There is absolutely no evidence that I ever sent or received any email marked classified, that has not changed,” she said, a stark and deliberate switch from her original stance that she never emailed any classified information on her private server at all.
A lie that has since been proven false.

And it gets better.
In a 2009 correspondence between the then secretary of state’s Chief of Staff Cheryl Mills and State Department official Lewis Lukens, Mills explained that Clinton didn’t know how to use a computer to send and receive emails.
“I talked to Cheryl about this. She says problem is HRC does not know how to use a computer to do email — only bb (Blackberry),” Lukens wrote. “But I said [it] would not take much training to get her up to speed.”
In the email chain, it is agreed by Lukens and Clinton’s staffer that a computer be setup as a “stand alone” of the official Department of Justice’s network, annihilating the State Department’s position that it had no idea she had a non-compliant email address.
“These emails are shocking,” Tom Fitton, the president of Judicial Watch wrote in a statement. “They show the Obama State Department’s plan to set up non-government computers and a computer network for Hillary Clinton to bypass the State Department network.
“That these records were withheld from the American people until now is scandalous and shows the criminal probe of Hillary Clinton’s email system should include current and former officials of the Obama administration,” he added.
