Mika Brzezinski is afraid her daughter might be a selfish, money-grubbing Republican.
She expressed her “fears” during a segment of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” Friday while the panel was discussing the approach of winter storm Jonas.
Joe Scarborough was joking about Brzezinski and fellow panelist Nicole Wallace getting back to Connecticut, where they live, before the storm hit.
“You guys are the most—you must be republican. Selfish,” she quipped.
“Oh gosh. Selfish! Republicans. I noticed this when my daughter was twelve she started to become selfish and money-grubbing,” she said. And I said, “oh my gosh, I got a Republican in the family.”
“You know what we call it? We call it personal responsibility and loving Jesus… and America” Scarborough replied.
