A stunned Starbucks cashier is busted on camera by a customer who accused the employee of stealing her credit card information and using it to go on an expensive shopping spree.
The unidentified employee even admitted to the wrongdoing.
Juana Martinez is seen in the video pulling up to the drive-thru window after placing an order at the Lakewood, Calif., Starbucks location, Fox 2 News reported.
“We got you on camera yesterday at Ralph’s for $200, so just know that the cops are coming up here,” Martinez is heard telling the cashier after receiving her order.
The young worker immediately apologized.
“I’m sorry that I took money from you and your kids. I’m sorry that you had to come up here,” she told Martinez. “I’m sorry that this is inconvenient for you.”
Martinez asked her if she’s also sorry that she’s about to lose her job “because corporate knows.”
“I am a good child. I swear I am really good,” the cashier replied. “I really do go to school. I’m 19. I play soccer.”
She offers to repay Martinez and pleads with her to not press charges, but the irate customer was in no mood for forgiveness.
“You come to Starbucks to get coffee, not to get robbed,” Martinez told the young lady.
