“Journalist” Roland S. Martin, a committed apologist for the oft-violent Black Lives Matter movement, jumped at the opportunity to imply that armed militia members in Oregon are being treated differently because they are white.
Militia members, including the sons of Cliven Bundy, occupied the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in Burns, Oregon, on Saturday in support of a local rancher and his son, saying they are prepared to “kill or be killed” in a conflict with authorities.
“Did I miss the call for the national guard in Oregon? I recall them in Ferguson and Baltimore,” Martin wrote on social media.

The dispute in Oregon centers on rancher Dwight Hammond and his son, Steven, who were ordered back to prison to finish a five-year term for committing arson on federal land. The Hammond’s were convicted of setting fires in 2001 and 2006, which they insist was to protect their property from invasive plants and wildfires.
The elder Hammond served 3 months, while the son served one year. But a judge ruled that the time they served was not in line with federal law and ordered them both back to prison.
As for the differences between Oregon and Ferguson that Martin is missing, there has yet to be any rioting and looting by the militia members.
That and there’s been no rush for elected officials, to include President Obama, Attorney General Loretta Lynch and Gov. Kate Brown, to meet with the activists — or domestic terrorists, as the media refers to the militia members.
