Trump makes good point about terrorist’s wives; insists ‘I don’t believe the sister’

Donald TrumpRepublican presidential front-runner Donald Trump thinks it’s time women stopped getting a free pass in terrorist investigations.

Appearing on CBS’ “Face the Nation” Sunday, Trump said he doesn’t believe the San Bernardino terrorist Syed Farook‘s sister Saira Khan didn’t know anything about the couple’s jihad plot.

“I probably don’t believe the sister,” he told host John Dickerson who asked if Trump would go after her.

“I would go after a lot of people and find out whether or not they knew. I’d be able to find out. Cause I don’t believe the sister,” he said.

He said going after women, like the wives of the 9/11 terrorists could prove fruitful.

“I would certainly go after the wives who absolutely knew it was happening, and I guess your definition of what I’d do, I’m going to leave that to your imagination,” Trump told Dickerson.

In a previous interview with CBS Khan told CBS she had no idea why her brother and his wife committed the terrorist attack.

“I can never imagine my brother or my sister-in-law doing something like this. Especially because they were happily married, they had a beautiful 6-month-old daughter. It’s just mind boggling why they would do something like this,” she asked CBS News’ David Begnaud rhetorically.

“So many things I asked myself. I ask myself if I had called him that morning or the night before, asked him how he was doing, what he was up to. If I had any inclination, maybe I could have stopped it,” she added.
