Not all black people are drinking the liberal Kool-Aid.
An African-American mother in St. Louis posted an epic rant on Facebook over more protesting in the city after a young black man was shot and killed Wednesday when he pointed a stolen gun at police.
Noting the death of a 9-year-old girl who was killed by an unknown assailant the day before while doing homework on her mother’s bed, Peggy Hubbard expressed her frustration over #BlackLivesMatter protesters standing up for “the thug” while ignoring innocent victims.
“Last night, who do you think they protested for?” Hubbard asked. “The thug, the criminal, because they’re howling ‘police brutality.’ Are you kidding me? Police brutality? How about black brutality?”
Sheriff Clarke: ‘You cannot point a gun at a
police officer and expect nothing to happen’
“A little girl is dead,” she added. “You say black lives matter? Her life mattered. Her dreams mattered. Her future mattered. Her promises mattered. It mattered.”
Hubbard goes on to say that she had a brother who “did not listen and died by the gun,” and acknowledged that she has a child locked up.
“Oh, yeah, I put him there. I turned him in,” she said emphatically. “Yes, I did, because I’m a strong black woman. I am a black mother. I told my children that if you [mess] up, if you go to jail, I am not getting you out. You will stay there. You will do the time.”
A powerful message in a time when the truth often takes a back seat to political agendas.
