MSM cries over Internet abuse of LIBERAL women only; Michelle Malkin sets them straight

A Washington Post article decrying the treatment of feminists on the Internet caught the attention of one of the most outspoken female voices on Twitter.

Conservative pundit Michelle Malkin, the founder of the website Twitchy which was called out in the piece, slammed the article for only focusing on the vitriol liberal women face, while abuses against conservative women are routinely ignored by the mainstream media.

“Once again, MSM sheds tears for Internet abuse of lib women. Prog h8 against conservative women ignored,” she tweeted.

“While digital media has amplified feminist voices, it has also extracted a steep psychic price. Women, urged to tell their stories, are being ferociously punished when they do,” the article’s author Michelle Goldberg wrote.

“Some — particularly women who have the audacity to criticize sexism in the video-game world — have been driven from their homes or forced to cancel public appearances. Fake ads soliciting rough sex have been placed in their names. And, of course, the Twitter harassment never stops.”

Malkin was right. The article said feminists were retiring because of the backlash they receive online by “men’s rights group” and “right-wing Twitter account(s),” but made no mention of the vitriol conservative women who don’t identify as “feminists” like Malkin, Dana Loesch, Katie Pavlich, S.E. Cupp, Megyn Kelly and former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin routinely face from liberal flame throwers.

Malkin’s tweet gained the attention of Comedy Central’s “Daily Show” co-creator Lizz Winstead and CNN anchor Jake Tapper.

Others from the Twitterverse chimed in and slammed the blatant media bias.
