Thank you to our veterans – BPR remembers your sacrifice

BizPac Review wishes all members of the military, past and present, a very happy Veterans Day.

The late President Ronald Reagan once described the difference between the two major political parties. “Republicans believe every day is the Fourth of July,” he said. “Democrats believe every day is April 15.” All Americans, no matter what their political stripe, can agree on one thing, however: Every day should be Veterans Day because of the huge debt we owe them.

Veterans Day evolved from Armistice Day, which marked the end of World War I, the “war to end all wars.” It occurred on “the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month” of 1918.

The following two videos — both touching and instructive — tell us what Veterans Day is all about. Enjoy.

This first one, lasting less than two minutes, tells us in words and film clips why a trained and ready military is necessary.

This final video describes in images and music why they serve — they do it for you. It’s done to the music of the classic Bryan Adams song, “(Everything I Do) I Do It For You.”

And be sure to watch Not only can US Marines fight, they can dance too.
