OP-ED Submission Guidelines

BPR will consider op-ed or opinion pieces under the following guidelines:

The piece is 100% original, must not be published in any other location
The piece will remain exclusive to BPR unless otherwise agreed upon in writing
Preferred length is 700-1100 words
Live in-content links are limited to 4 (exceptions will be considered)
Submitted work should include a suggested headline, however, headlines and feature photos are added at the sole discretion of BPR
Embargoed work must be cleared with the editor in advance and clearly labeled
Submissions must be timely, factually accurate and self-edited for typos
Writers must include all social media handles and a brief bio with the first submission.
BPR does not pay for op-ed articles and reserves the right to refuse or accept submissions based on editorial discretion.
Writers whose repeat submissions do well with the BPR audience may qualify to be a regular columnist. Columnists have a prominent spot on the site, an individual archive page and they are promoted by BPR for exposure. Some columnists may also enter into an agreement with BPR for regular work and compensation.

OP-ED Agreements*
You must read and acknowledge these guidelines in their entirety before submission will be considered and published.

1) All op-eds must be factually accurate and conform to AP Style. The writer agrees that he or she is the original author of the op-eds and that they have not been published elsewhere. The writer also acknowledges and agrees that nothing in the op-eds infringes on the copyrights of any person or entity and that nothing they write is defamatory, obscene, libelous, unlawful, or in any way actionable.

2) The writer also acknowledges and agrees that BizPac Review has the right to edit, change, or translate the op-ed, including its title, as it solely determines. BizPac Review retains the right to reproduce and distribute the Article in any derivative form. Furthermore, BizPac Review retains the right to use the writer's name and likeness to promote or advertise the op-eds and to sell or license them as it deems appropriate.

3) BizPac Review retains the right to publish the writer's op-eds in any and all formats. The writer further acknowledges and agrees that BizPac Review has the right to publish, sell, lease, license, adapt, reproduce, distribute, display, and store the op-eds for commercial purposes in all forms of media in the United States and throughout the world.
