'Nooo! ... Why?' Whoopi shocks when she randomly asks co-host if she's pregnant on live TV

‘The View’ is no stranger to off-kilter segments, but one completely random question from co-host Whoopi Goldberg had everyone shocked and confused.

Goldberg interrupted her own train of thought to ask co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin if she was pregnant, something that most people would consider rude. However, Griffin reacted with quite a bit of grace, especially considering her own mother-in-law was in the audience.

“So the toughest thing for me has been to watch the disregard for people- are you pregnant?” Goldberg asked.

“NO!” Griffin gasped, clearly taken aback by the sudden change of topic to something very sensitive. “Oh my God… You can’t say that when my mother-in-law is here, who’s been dying for me to get pregnant.”

“Why, do I look pregnant?” Griffin asked.

“Yes,” Goldberg responded.

“Did you get the glow?” asked one of the other co-hosts, who were just as shocked as Griffin, trying to understand Goldberg’s reason for asking such a private question out of the blue.

“I just got a vibe,” Whoopi explained.

“Please tell me it’s not my tummy,” Griffin laughed.

“Can we take bets at the table?” Sunny Hostin wondered, glancing around at the table.

“I am very open to being pregnant soon, I am not blessed to be pregnant yet,” Griffin said, later stating she would “take a test” when she gets home just to be sure. She then attempted to get the segment back on track before they had to cut to a commercial break.
