An Antifa extremist is among the many Twitter employees who’ve been fired in the wake of billionaire Elon Musk buying the social media platform.
The Antifa extremist, outgoing Twitter engineering manager Eric Shamow, announced his termination in a since-privated tweet posted Friday.
“Locked out of Gmail and Slack, so while I don’t have a letter in hand, I’m going with, ‘that’s all, folks.’ This job had the greatest density of quality humans, and world-class engineers, I’ve ever seen. I’ll be forever grateful for all of them,” he wrote.
How is it known that he’s an Antifa member? Because he inadvertently revealed it in separate tweets he’d posted during the violent Black Lives Matter riots of 2020.
On July 26th, 2020, the Portland Police Bureau in Portland, Oregon, posted a tweet informing locals about how Antifa extremists were using shields in their rioting.
In response, Shamow tweeted, “We carry shields because you brutalize civilians and commit war crimes on our streets.”
One of the armed participants of the 2020 BLM-Antifa riots in #Portland was let go in the #TwitterLayoffs. Ex-SRE manager Eric Shamow was at the riots & used Twitter to spread fake conspiracy theory peddled by @JoAnnPDX that police were the ones behind rioting. cc: @elonmusk https://t.co/BdJRDRPz5v pic.twitter.com/PGfJ60tQBc

The Portland Police were NOT brutalizing civilians and committing war crimes. If anything, Antifa extremists are the ones with a history of brutalizing people.
The idea that the police were the bad guys apparently originated with Portland Commissioner Jo Ann Hardesty, a far-leftist who hates the police.
Shamow is among what appear to be thousands of now-former Twitter employees who’ve been fired in the the past couple of days.
“An email went out to the company’s employees late Thursday notifying employees of plans to cut jobs, informing them that by 9 a.m. Pacific time Friday, workers would receive an email with the subject line: ‘Your Role at Twitter.’ Those keeping their jobs would be notified on their company email. Those losing them would be told via their personal email,” The Washington Post reported Thursday.
Since Friday, a number of now-fired Twitter employees like Shamow have been mourning the loss of their job — some with tears.
On one hand, it’s very understandable that these former employees are upset. Being fired is a horrible experience. But on the other hand, say critics, these employees were responsible for God knows how many Americans being silenced and censored.
And so because of the culture of censorship that so many Twitter employees had fostered, there’s little sympathy coming from these now-fired workers’ critics, especially since Musk is jumping through hoops to try to help them through the transition:
Regarding Twitter’s reduction in force, unfortunately there is no choice when the company is losing over $4M/day.
Everyone exited was offered 3 months of severance, which is 50% more than legally required.

Regarding Shamow, there’s in most cases no sympathy at all, because not only is he clearly a leftist, but he’s one affiliated with Antifa terrorists.

It’s called KARMA! Take all these ex Twitter commies down!

@eshamow fired and a loser. I hope every business sees this report and you can’t find a job.

@eshamow was one of those anarchist-communusts operating both in public and from within the walls of Twitter

You may not realize, @eshamow, you’re one of the bad guys. I guess you already know how to code, so maybe learn to mine cobalt. Hear there’s a need. https://t.co/VWjUlCegwR

Note what the latter Twitter user wrote: “You may not realize, @eshamow, you’re one of the bad guys.”
True. Antifa extremists have been responsible for an untold number of arsons, vandalisms, and assaults.
Why? Because they, as radical extremists, genuinely believe that these violent, vicious actions are justified.
“Anti-fascist activists, or ‘antifa,’ increasingly mobilized in the wake of President Trump’s election, are unapologetic about what they describe as the necessary use of violence to combat authoritarianism,” The Hill reported way back in 2017.
“While both experts on the movement and activists within it emphasize that not everyone who participates in anti-fascist activism engages in violence, they say the use of force is intrinsic to their political philosophy,” The Hill added.
The actual good guys don’t think like this.
The mythical Antifa — and they totally don’t exist — march in DC chanting, “If we don’t get it, burn it down.”
I just wrote about one of their tactics to harass and threaten media members for #FOXNews here: https://t.co/QXOHzw5VWw

It’s not clear how many other Antifa activists used to work at Twitter.
