U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) has responded with a statement about the early morning home invasion, hammer attack on her husband, Paul Pelosi, in San Francisco.
Separately, Democrats from President Biden on down, along with their stenographers in the corporate media, have tried to politicize the assault for partisan purposes by invoking their go-to, January 6.
The ongoing urban anarchy that affects ordinary people on a daily basis in America’s soft-on-crime jurisdictions and the unserious approach to it are the overriding issues, however, Donald Trump Jr. implied on social media.
Among various unanswered, so far, questions about the disturbing Pelosi incident, the actual motivation for the alleged attacker is still unknown at this time. An investigation is ongoing.
Authorities reportedly plan to charge the alleged assailant with attempted homicide, assault with a deadly weapon, elder abuse, burglary, and other crimes.
Doctors at a local hospital performed successful surgery on Paul Pelosi to repair a skull fracture, and he is expected to make a full recovery.
His spouse was in D.C. at the time of the attack.
Breaking her silence in an approximately 15o-word press release addressed to her lawmaker colleagues on Saturday, the Speaker had this to say:
Yesterday morning, a violent man broke into our family home, demanded to confront me and brutally attacked my husband Paul. Our children, our grandchildren and I are heartbroken and traumatized by the life-threatening attack on our Pop. We are grateful for the quick response of law enforcement and emergency services, and for the life-saving medical care he is receiving.
Please know that the outpouring of prayers and warm wishes from so many in the Congress is a comfort to our family and is helping Paul make progress with his recovery. His condition continues to improve.
We are also comforted by the words of the Book of Isaiah: “Do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
We thank you and pray for the continued safety and well-being of your family.

“According to San Francisco Police Department data, the number of assaults in the city is up 11.1% compared to 2021. The number of reported robberies, larceny, motor vehicle theft, and rape is also up from last year,” Fox News reported.
Perhaps with that in mind, Trump Jr. took to Twitter, where he has about nine million followers, to make the following observation:
“Imagine how safe the country would be if democrats took all violent crime as seriously as they’re taking the Paul Pelosi situation. They simply don’t care about you.”

He posted the identical message on Truth Social, where he has nearly three million followers.
Lawlessness, including rampant vagrancy, got so bad in liberal/progressive San Francisco, that fed-up voters recalled its radical, Soros-funded district attorney in June.
Moreover, the cost-of-living crisis prompted by Bidenflation and crime are among the top-tier national concerns in the midterm election, which is right around the corner.
In an opinion piece published on Saturday in the New York Post, author, activist, and unsuccessful 2022 independent candidate for California governor Michael Shellenberger claimed, in part:
“Wrapped up in their own obsession with Trump Republicans, most journalists have missed the real story. [The suspect] is not a microcosm of the political psychosis gripping America in general. Rather, he’s a microcosm of the drug-induced psychosis gripping the West Coast in particular.”
All suspects are presumed innocent until or unless they are convicted in a court of law of any alleged crimes.
