Trump targets ‘racist’ Letitia James at MI rally for ‘attacking’ him, says NYC ‘falling apart’ from crime

During his latest rally this Saturday evening in Michigan, former President Donald Trump slammed New York State Attorney General Letitia James over her misplaced priorities, namely her focus on suing him versus prosecuting criminals.

In slamming the AG, he also repeated his accusation that she’s a “racist,” though like before, he abstained from clarifying how exactly James is a racist.

Listen:

“They’re all attacking me, including the racist AG, attorney general, in New York, whose state is falling apart from murders, rapes, robberies, drug deals, and every other form of record-breaking crime. The homeless are sadly but dangerously roaming all over the streets of New York City, and the city is filthy, as is [the] racist AG. She is just as bad as you get,” he said.

“You know what her campaign was? I didn’t know her. She didn’t know me. ‘I will get Donald Trump.’ And she beat a big field of candidates with a small vote. And then, you know, she ran for governor. She got like two percent or something. And then she went right back. I said, does this mean she’s leaving the state from the attorney general’s office, because she’s terrible.”

Trump continued, “She’s terrible on crime, unless it’s Donald Trump we can get in some form. But then they sued me, even though there was no victim. You know, there’s no victim. She was trying to protect banks, but the banks got paid. They never even defaulted. The fact is I made a lot of money. We have a lot of cash.”

“We have a great company. I paid off the banks. I think she thought the banks were taken advantage of. No, the banks have the best lawyers in the country. Believe me. I know that. They’re very smart. We don’t need her protecting banks. We need her protecting the people of New York from being murdered.”

The former president also played the following video about James (ignore fake “journalist” Aaron Rupar’s commentary):

The video showed a number of figures, including former Attorney General Bill Barr, essentially dismissing James’ lawsuit against Trump as bullschiff.

The former president first called James a racist in a Truth Social statement he posted roughly two weeks ago.

“Another Witch Hunt by a racist Attorney General, Letitia James, who failed in her run for Governor, getting almost zero support from the public, and now is doing poorly against Law & Order A.G. candidate, highly respected Michael Henry,” the statement read.

“I never thought this case would be brought — until I saw her really bad poll numbers. She is a fraud who campaigned on a ‘get Trump’ platform, despite the fact that teh city is one of the crime and murder disasters of the world under her watch!”

Trump’s been railing against James ever since she filed a $250 million lawsuit against him in late September.

As previously reported, she’s accused the former president and his allies of inflating their net worth by billions of dollars and misleading banks and other institutions regarding the value of their assets.

“Mr. Trump and the Trump Org repeatedly and persistently manipulated the value of assets to induce banks to lend money to the Trump Organization on more favorable terms than would otherwise have been available to the company to pay lower taxes, to satisfy continuing loan agreements, and to induce insurance companies to provide insurance coverage for higher limits and at lower premiums,” she said during a Sept. 21st press conference.

“Donald Trump falsely inflated his net worth by billions of dollars to unjustly enrich himself, and cheat the system, thereby cheating all of us,” she added.

Trump maintains he did nothing wrong and that James’ lawsuit is just another politically motivated “witch hunt” against him.

Ever since he stepped into office in early 2017, he’s faced an endless onslaught of political attacks, ranging from the fake Russian collusion delusion hoax and conspiracy theory to impeachment one and then later impeachment two.

Even out of office, he continues to face attacks:

According to Newsweek, during Saturday’s rally, the former president also shared “profound sympathy” and “immense support” for the victims of Hurricane Ian, praised Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas’ wife for still believing the 2020 election was stolen, and claimed Democrats can only win elections by cheating “like dogs.”
