Whoopi says ‘there is nothing wrong with Joe Biden,’ GOP just needs to be re-educated on American values

“The View” co-host Whoopi Goldberg made it crystal clear that not only is there “nothing wrong” with President Joe Biden, but Republicans apparently need to be re-educated about American values and she has lost all patience with that.

“This is how I feel. There’s nothing wrong with Joe Biden,” Goldberg asserted. “He has done what nobody else was able to do, and so, you know, I feel like if you’ve done a good job I want to you continue to do that. I don’t want to re-educate another person of what the values of this country are, I don’t want to do it.”

Her comments followed a discussion on the show Tuesday of President Biden’s remarks during his “60 Minutes” interview where he refused to commit to running for re-election.

“The second you announce a run, you’re ahead of yourself. You’re focused on everything else. He’s getting stuff done. And you know, we just talked about the legislative wins he’s had, that’s the best way to be a president, otherwise you become just a campaign for the next round, and so I appreciate that he’s like settled down in the fact that everyone seems to feel there’s right answer to that question, like we’ve got some time,” co-host Sara Haines commented.

“Unless Trump is in prison… If Trump is in prison or somewhere in maybe, in Saudi Arabia, somewhere, Russia, it’s possible,” co-host Joy Behar chimed in, “then I think that Joe Biden is the one to beat him. He beat him before. He’ll beat him again.”

“If Trump is not in prison … Gavin Newsom has a chance,” she said. “Gavin Newsom and Stacey Abrams. What a ticket that would be.”

The former president has not announced his 2024 candidacy yet but the left is terrified of him or Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) running. Should they form one ticket, the duo would be almost unstoppable and Democrats know it.

“I think Gavin Newsom is sort of that fresh energy that we need, I think that he’s charismatic, I think that he’s smart, he runs the fifth-largest economy in the world, more productive than India and the United Kingdom, I think if you want someone who wants real leadership and has business experience, I’m not even going to talk about the good looks, Gavin Newsom,” co-host Sunny Hostin swooned.

“Look, if I were to say to you, ‘I’m running again,’ all of a sudden, a whole range of things come into play that I have – requirements I have to change and move and do,” Biden stated in his “60 Minutes” interview with Scott Pelley over the weekend.

“It’s much too early to make that kind of decision. I’m a great respecter of fate. And so, what I’m doing is, I’m doing my job. I’m going to do that job. And within the timeframe that makes sense after this next election cycle here, going into next year, make a judgment on what to do,” the president contended.

“Look, my intention, as I said, that began with is that I would run again. But it’s just an intention. But is it a firm decision that I run again? That remains to be seen,” Biden added.

Newsom has been actively measuring the drapes in the White House in a bid to take Biden’s place as the 2024 Democratic presidential nominee. Vice President Kamala Harris and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg are also considering running.

Hostin proceeded to ask co-host Republican Alyssa Farah Griffin, “Who on your side is credible enough?”

Griffin laughably listed names such as Liz Cheney and Nikki Haley. Hostin then called former Ambassador Nikki Haley a “chameleon” and labeled Mike Pompeo as “the nasty war guy.”

Joy labeled the Republican Party “a destructive force.”

In response to Griffin’s list, Goldberg said, “If you find a Republican who we don’t have to re-educate about the values of America and the promise, then it’s discussionable, but the folks that you mentioned, because they hung on every word you-know-who said, they don’t qualify.”
