A West Texas Border Patrol Twitter account was allegedly deactivated on Saturday after retweeting former senior White House adviser Stephen Miller, whose tweets U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Commissioner Chris Magnus called “unacceptable.”
Magnus announced that the content was removed and the Office of Professional Responsibility was investigating the incident.
“Totally unacceptable and disappointing that any CBP Twitter account was used to R/T offensive, unauthorized content,” Magnus angrily tweeted. “This must not happen again.”
The tweet also stated, “U.S. Customs and Border Protection has become aware of unauthorized and inappropriate content that was posted to the @CBPWestTexas Twitter account. CBP will take action to deactivate the account and has referred the matter to the Office of Professional Responsibility to investigate. The tweets do not reflect the values of this administration and our work to rebuild a humane, orderly, and secure immigration system.”

“Violent criminals lay waste to our communities undisturbed while the immense power of the state is arrayed against those whose only crime is dissent,” Miller wrote on Twitter which was retweeted on the Border Patrol account. “The law has been turned from a shield to protect the innocent into a sword to conquer them.”

Miller also slammed the media saying its “greatest power is its ability to frame what is a dire national crisis (eg ‘cops are racist’ summer ’20) and what is not. Biden’s eradication of our border means we are no longer a Republic – he’s ended nearly 250 years of constitutional government. The media is silent.”

Miller has relentlessly been called a racist by the left for opposing illegal immigration and stating the fact that it has increased violent crime. Democrats call it fear-mongering and conservatives call it facts.
He is hated by leftists for helping Trump institute his travel ban, the border wall, and illegal immigration policies. But Miller has stood firm and is not backing down over his statements or his actions.
The Department of Justice (DOJ) subpoenaed Miller last week for the Jan. 6 committee in connection to alleged efforts to overturn the 2020 election according to The Hill.
Democrats are failing and desperate. They are the scourge of society.

The former senior White House policy adviser and Trump speechwriter hammered the Biden administration on Sunday for its decision to investigate the Border Patrol situation, asserting that they are “going after agents” instead of “murderous cartels.”
“Joe Biden’s soulless open border crusade is killing thousands of innocents. Death and destruction everywhere. But instead of going after the murderous cartels, they are going after agents for RTs of pro-border messages. The Biden Administration hates the law and law enforcement,” Miller tweeted.
Really? Is that a priority for the Border Patrol now? How about stopping the invasion on our Southern border? How about finding out where the 800,000 “gotaways” went to? @CBP @SpoxDHS @DHSgov

As of Monday morning, the West Texas CBP Twitter account had not been deactivated.
The CBP investigation into the @CBPWestTexas Twitter account follows a report that was released in October of last year which found that 60 Border Patrol agents committed misconduct by taking part in a Facebook group that featured racist, homophobic, and misogynist content.
The CBP’s Discipline Review Board recommended that 24 of the agents be fired, but only two eventually were let go, according to Newsweek.
