Leftists infuriated by major networks’ refusal to air Biden’s divisive speech: ‘Democracy may be ending’

Angry demagogue Joe Biden’s unprecedented attack on tens of millions of patriotic Americans was so vile that all of the major television networks declined to air it live, infuriating the virulently anti-Trump elements of the so-called Resistance who wailed in protest.

When Biden appeared in front of the creepy blood-red background in front of historic Independence Hall in Philadelphia along with two U.S. Marines looking and sounding every bit like a tin pot dictator, viewers of CBS, NBC, ABC and FOX were all spared from having the grotesque travesty piped into their living rooms as the nets stuck with their normal scheduling of reruns and a game show.

“People involved in negotiations over Thursday’s address said the networks deemed Biden’s remarks as ‘political’ in nature and therefore decided not to televise it,” The Washington Post reported, describing the thought process behind the nixing of live coverage for Biden’s nasty, un-American rant. “These people, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe sensitive discussions, cited the speech’s criticism of Trump — Biden’s possible political opponent in 2024 — and its timing two months before the midterm elections.”

“White House officials had earlier tried to counter the impression of partisanship, with one telling NBC News that it was ‘not a speech about a particular politician or even about a particular political party,'” WaPo’s Paul Farhi reported on regime officials brazenly lying to one of the major networks in order to convince it to carry Biden’s “soul of the nation” address by denying that it was political in nature.

As Biden delivered his dark and divisive remarks in which he denounced the leader of the opposition party and America First Republicans as extremists and threats to the nation, CBS viewers were treated to a rerun of “Young Sheldon,” NBC aired a rerun of “Law and Order,” ABC went with the game show “Press Your Luck” and Fox News featured the latest episode of  “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” mercifully sparing potentially millions of Americans from a speech that could have been plucked out of a dystopian sci-fi movie.

The speech was carried live by MSNBC and CNN, both de facto state media outlets that are plagued by the poor ratings that their one-sided, sensationalistic content and array of ex-government officials as analysts and contributors are befitting of.

Resistance Twitter was not pleased with the networks’ decision to stick with regularly scheduled programming over the fascistic ravings of Dear Leader.

“The Networks’ failure to broadcast the Biden speech last night equates an appeal for National Unity with a traitor Sociopath’s irrational tirades and self-aggrandizement. Shame on you – A message to the powers that be…We the People will prevail…with you or without you,” raged left-wing actor John Cusack.

“The networks didn’t show it -Think about that – they couldn’t cut into their prime time ratings – Biden should do the speech again and make the networks carry it – prime time Oval Office emergency – Your rights and votes are being criminally f**ked with – in mutiple states,” Cusack added in another typically deranged tweet.

“Same big tv networks that said NO to Pres Biden’s speech on democracy aired Trump’s speech as Pres on immigration in 2019–that was objectively filled with lies. I keep repeating: Corporate media is NOT our friend. They ALWAYS chose drama over democracy because good for ratings,” whined progressive radio host Dean Obeidallah.

LA Times art critic Christopher Knight complained, “POTUS gave a national address on the spread of MAGA fascism in the US & none of the 3 broadcast TV networks carried it. None. Now we know whose side they’re on.”

Other reactions from the roiling waters of the great moonbat Twitter fever swamp:

“The networks’ decision not to carry the speech all but ensured that Biden’s remarks will reach a far smaller audience than the millions of viewers who typically watch live presidential addresses on ABC, CBS and NBC,” according to the WaPo which noted that while the networks will typically carry presidential speeches that “they have passed on speeches that were part of campaign rallies or events, or when the subject was deemed insufficiently important or newsworthy. The networks, for example, decided not to carry a speech on immigration reform by then-president Barack Obama in November of 2014.”

Credit the network bosses for sniffing out that Biden’s extremist rhetoric about “MAGA Republicans” over the past week was intended for national consumption and wisely rejecting giving him a forum on national television for his despicable demonizing of half the electorate.
