A 48-year-old British rock singer died from a “catastrophic brain injury” weeks after receiving the AstraZeneca COVID vaccination, an inquest held at the Newcastle Coroner’s Court concluded after hearing details of how the otherwise healthy musician’s condition rapidly deteriorated after being jabbed.
The rocker who called himself Lord Zion and was a member of the punk band “Spit Like This” was stricken eight days after being vaccinated, experiencing an agonizing headache last May 13, a condition that worsened despite taking painkillers.
Two days later, a paramedic who was called to his home in Alston, Cumbria where he was found to be “alert and sat up” she testified at the hearing saying that “she advised Zion to go to hospital for further checks, but he said he did not want to go for fear of catching Covid,” according to the Daily Mail.
Zion’s fiancé Vikki Spit who had been the singer’s partner for 21 years disputed the paramedic’s claim, saying that she was “adamant” that the severe headache was unrelated to the vaccine and that they both “believed her,” she added that he “was prepared to go to hospital if the advice was to do so.”
The paramedic said “that she did not receive official guidance regarding the AstraZeneca vaccine and its rare potential risks until around July,” according to the outlet.
“Two days later, on May 17, another paramedic arrived at Zion’s home and described him as ‘confused and vacant’. Zion then had a small seizure and he was immediately taken to Carlisle Hospital in an ambulance,” the Daily Mail reported. “He was later referred to the RVI and blue-lighted to the hospital with the intention of him being operated on immediately.”

Damian Holliman, the neurosurgeon who operated on Zion, testified that “when he arrived, both of his pupils were unresponsive to light. By this point Zion had bleeding on the brain, causing it to swell, and he was then operated on,” he said that he was “fully aware” that the blood clot “was the result of his recent vaccination.”
When Holliman was asked whether he believed that the vaccine was responsible for the “rare and aggressive complication” that Zion suffered, he said “I don’t have any other reason to think it was anything else” and that the thrombosis was “related somehow to the vaccination,” according to the Daily Mail. “Two other consultants at the RVI also gave evidence at the hearing, and agreed with Mr. Holliman’s view that Zion had suffered rare complication from the vaccine.”
In July, Spit was awarded a maximum settlement amount of £120,000, becoming the first person to receive compensation over a death related to the vaccines, an amount that she said was not adequate.

“I am still heartbroken by the sudden loss of my partner of 21 years, and alongside this emotional trauma, I have also been faced with financial hardship as a result of the loss of Zion’s contribution to household finances,” she said, according to the BBC. “There just isn’t the proper financial aid coming from the government to support those who have lost family to the vaccine.”
On August 10, she took to Facebook where she posted a message that was highly critical of the vaccines and the government.
“The reason why only 1% of vaccine damage claims have been processed: If they processed all the claims quickly, then there would be hundreds or even thousands of stories in the press about payments being made to people left more than 60% disabled or bereaved by ‘ safe’ vaccines. This would affect public confidence in the vaccines and this would affect the COMMERCIAL INTERESTS OF GOVERNMENT AND VACCINE MANUFACTURERS and that simply IS NOT ACCEPTABLE,” Spit wrote.
