Left-wing activists plan to “blockade the streets around the Supreme Court” come Monday, and critics say their plan sounds awfully similar to an insurrection.
The group Shut Down DC, which originally emerged in 2019 to protest on behalf of climate change, states explicitly on its website that on June 13th, it intends “to blockade the streets around the Supreme Court to rise up for the transformative change that our communities need.”

But it gets worse.
“In online meeting footage … the group announced that it planned to seal off all three vehicle entrances to the court so justices wouldn’t be able to get in and announce a decision that might overturn Roe v. Wade,” The Epoch Times has confirmed.
According to a slide presented during the meeting, the goal “is to create a decision dilemma, presenting the Court, Congress, and law enforcement (and the political leaders that oversee them) with three unacceptable (to them) options.”
The options are to “[a]llow the blockade to continue and stop Justices from entering the court,” “[c]ontinue to escalate the crisis in democracy by using police force to forcibly remove us,” or “[o]pen up to implementing the transformation changes that our movements and communities have been demanding.”

The group is apparently motivated by a desire to prevent the Supreme Court from overturning Roe v. Wade, a decision that’s expected to be announced any day now.
“Following decades of organizing by the far right, conservatives now hold a majority on the Supreme Court, and a group of five justices can roll back critical rights and protections that should be settled law. At the same time, the filibuster has left the Senate gridlocked and unable to pass legislation to protect our rights or enact the programs our communities need,” the group’s website reads.
“Right now our political system is in crisis. Times of crisis can either be opportunities to break through the inertia and win transformational change or they can be opportunities for the establishment to further entrench the status quo.”
America’s political system is certainly “in crisis,” but critics say that’s because it currently boasts a two-tiered justice system that allows leftists to do whatever the hell they want to do but simultaneously arrests right-wingers for mere thought crimes.
What’s clear, critics argue, is that if America were a country with a fair and equal justice system, Shut Down DC members would be arrested either right now for plotting an insurrection or on Monday for committing one.
In other words, they’d be treated exactly like the Jan. 6th “insurrectionists.”
What’s the word for “shutting down an official government proceeding”? It’s on the tip of my tongue but . . . c’mon, what is it??

Sounds insurrection-y.

According to the rules this is an insurrection

Insurrection! Arrest them all and throw away the key

@FBI have your cameras ready so you will be able to arrest everyone at the Supreme Court Insurrection on Monday. Make sure to post the pictures on your website so everyone can be identified and brought to justice.

Arrest them, everyone who has financed them, hold them in solitary confinement for over a year, and then hold show trials during prime time in two years before the next election. Thems are the J6 rules

Shutting down SCOTUS? Sounds like insurrection. I’ll be waiting for the June 13th congressional hearings. Looking forward to people held for a year without bail. Looking for Chuck Schumer being charged. Only difference is that hopefully no unarmed protesters will be shot dead.

Of course, none of these critics expect any of the activists to actually be arrested, and the reason why is because the Biden administration has made it clear that it vociferously supports “abortion rights protests.”
Even when left-wing activists began illegally demonstrating outside the homes of the Supreme Court’s conservative justices, the administration defended them.
“I know there’s an outrage right now, I guess, about protests that have been peaceful to date. And we certainly continue to encourage that outside of judges’ homes and that’s the president’s position,” then-White House press secretary Jen Psaki said in May 10th.
And so despite their heated rhetoric seen above, critics know better than to expect arrests.
Biden and DOJ continue to let the intimidation campaign spiral ever further out of control.

They’re doing it with Biden’s blessing, too.

News of Shut Down DC’s planned “blockade” comes only hours after a group of right-wing men allegedly linked to white nationalism were arrested in the Idaho community of Coeur d’Alene on Saturday for wanting to riot at a gay pride event.
Not actually rioting, but wanting to riot …
