Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi lashed out against the Catholic Church after she was banned from Holy Communion by San Francisco Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone over her “extreme” position on abortion, taking her case to MSNBC to lecture the world’s oldest religious institution.
Pelosi appeared on Tuesday’s edition of “Morning Joe” where she was drooled over by the fawning couple of Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski who gave her a cable television forum to state her case as leftist frustration mounts over the Vatican’s inaction against Archbishop Cordileone after the San Francisco Examiner’s Editorial Board demanded that Pope Francis remove him from his duties over his grave insult to Madame Speaker.
After being buttered up by the show’s namesake, a former GOP member of Congress who resigned after a dead female intern was found in his office, Pelosi went on offensive, invoking the Holy Bible to slam the church.
“Well, good morning, Joe and thank you. Yes, we do go back a long way, when you were a new, young member of Congress,” Pelosi began. “What’s so sad about it, and as you were speaking, I’m thinking of some of the discussions I’ve had with other members of Congress over time and what is important for women to know and families to know, that this is not just about terminating a pregnancy.”
“So these same people are against contraception, family planning, in vitro fertilization,” she continued. “It’s… it’s a blanket thing and they use abortion as the front man for it while they try to undo so much, that’s what they tried to do in the Affordable Care Act, which didn’t have anything about terminating an abortion,” correcting herself, “a pregnancy.”
Pelosi added, “So let’s just say that, you know, I wonder about death penalty, which I am opposed to, so is the church, but they take no action against people who may not share their view.”
“Thank you for referencing the gospel of Matthew which is sort of the agenda of the church that is rejected by many who side with them on terminating a pregnancy,” she said to Scarborough who referenced the holy scripture when setting the table for Pelosi.
“So we just have to be prayerful,” the self-proclaimed “devout Catholic” said. “We have to be respectful. I come from a largely pro-life Italian-American Catholic family, so I respect people’s views about that but I don’t respect us foisting it onto others.”
She then accused Archbishop Cordileone of being a homophobe, a cardinal sin in “woke” leftist dogma.
“Now, our archbishop has been vehemently against LGBTQ rights, too,” Pelosi said, “in fact. He led the way in some of the initiatives on — an initiative on the ballot in California, so this decision, taking us to privacy and precedent, is very dangerous in the lives of so many of the American people, and again, not consistent with the gospel of Matthew.”
It was a perfect display of Pelosi’s titanic ego and arrogance which knows no limits.
Matters have escalated after Cordileone took to Twitter last Friday to announce that Pelosi has been forbidden from partaking in the holy rite after refusing his outreach to “help her understand the grave evil she is perpetrating” along with the “danger to her own soul.”

“I have determined that the point has come in which I must make a public declaration that she is not to be admitted to Holy Communion unless and until she publicly repudiate her support for abortion ‘rights’ and confess and receive absolution for her cooperation in this evil in the sacrament of Penance. I have accordingly sent her a Notification to this effect, which I have now made public,” the religious letter wrote in a “letter to the faithful” announcing his action against Pelosi.

Not only did Paul have someone expelled from the church in corinth for sin to ‘hand him over to satan’ but promotes that this is whats to be done on a regular basis. We have nothing to do with the immoral brother. we ‘dont even eat with the likes of these’ if you want to bring the bible into it. its one thing to preach christ its another to let wolfs into the congregation who openly come against the lord. we have had this issue with homosexual sin as well. both romans and timothy come against that but its openly celebrated in many churches now. its the apostasy. we now have wolfs even leading the congregations openly rebelling against god and promoting those that sin.
Its just people are so sensitive out of fear now they disobey how the church should conduct itself according to the bible. the priests involved by going ahead with this should be punished as well. even the pope himself erred in this.
My dogs and cat knows more about the book of Matthew than NP does. I do bible studies with them. This woman is living an apostate life and has a reprobate mind.. At the end of her life like so many just like her what will their power and money do for them when they stand before GOD?
You would think that a member of the House would know what is and isn’t in the US Constitution. There is NO Part of the Constitution that give a woman the right to have an Abortion. There is also no place in the Bible that give a woman the right to kill her unborn baby.
Leave it to the Demoncrat, Pelosi, to twist the words of God. “Thou shalt not kill”, remember that one Nancy? It’s kind of important. Nowhere in her screed did I see an invocation of Luke 17:2. Perhaps, when evading or using the Bible you should use all of the Bible and not just pick and choose the verses you like.

Jesus taught repentance for or of sins. The gospel allows us to be forgiven of our sins if we but humble ourselves before the Lord and repent for those sins and make a covenant with Lord to no longer commit those sins. Bayou will be forgiven.
