Trump blasts Biden at Ohio rally, mocks ‘bewildered’ president for ‘taking orders from Easter Bunny’

Amidst a rousing rally in Delaware, Ohio, on Saturday evening, ex-President Donald Trump called out his “bewildered” Oval Office successor and mocked him for “taking orders from the Easter Bunny.”

Trump was referring to an embarrassing incident during the traditional White House Easter egg roll, a.k.a. Bunnygate, during which an aide on gaffe patrol and dressed for the occasion pulled President Joe Biden away from reporters before he could answer a foreign-relations-related question about Afghanistan and Pakistan.

“We have a president right now, sadly, who has absolutely no idea what the hell is happening. He’s shaking hands with the air; he’s walking around somewhat bewildered. It’s no good — and taking orders from the Easter Bunny,” Trump declared.

At the latest Save America rally (among a series of appearances which may be a harbinger of another run for the presidency), POTUS 45 also alluded to another gone-viral incident where Biden, whose acumen continues to come under question, appeared to extend his hand to thin air rather than to an actual person after finishing a speech.

Incidents in which Biden, 79, looks or acts completely lost or fundamentally uninformed or confused seem to be increasing.

There was also a melancholy incident recently at a White House reception during which attendees while attendees  gathered around Barack Obama like he was a rock star while ignoring the current president.

During his freewheeling remarks, which are part prepared, and part extemporaneous, as he is known for, Trump blasted the Democrats for their soft-on-crime policies as well as transforming America to its detriment rom energy independence to dependence.

With the recent news that Biden supposedly plans to run for reelection in 2024 (which suggests the possibility of a rematch with Trump), Fox News host Tucker Carlson has implied that the situation might be equivalent to the Frankenstein monster escaping from the lab. “Just for the sake of amusement…we tried to find a Democratic Party official who be willing to go on the record to endorse a second Joe Biden candidacy and we couldn’t find a single one,” he added.

Carlson insisted that the Democrats only installed the “mannequin” as their placeholding “in a last desperate effort to stop the economic populism of Bernie Sanders.”

Covering a lot of topics at the rally, Trump returned to his voter integrity theme. “Think of what they’re doing — 48-day elections. We want one-day elections, we want paper ballots, and no mail-in fake ballots.”

Trump praised the French system in this regard. France goes to the polls Sunday to select a new president in the runoff between globalist Emmanuel Macron, the incumbent, and Marine Le Pen, the populist.

As things stand now, although time will tell, Macron is expected to eke out a victory, given that virtually the entire political/media establishment, including the also-rans (with the exception of Eric Zemmour) in the first round of voting, have circled the wagons around Macron.

At the Ohio event, Trump also riffed about his endorsement of former critic J.D. Vance in the Republican primary for U.S. Senate in that state.

“[Vance is] a guy that said some bad s–t about me; he did. But you know what? Every one of the others did also,” Trump joked to rally-goers. “In fact, if I went by that standard, I don’t think I would have ever endorsed anybody in the country.”
