Biden appears to offer handshake with the air, falsely claims he was a full university professor…for 4 years!

President Joe Biden’s cognitive acuity is once again the subject of much debate after the 79-year-old leader finished a speech Thursday and appeared to extend his hand in an effort to firmly shake thin air.

Standing alone on a Greensboro, NC, stage to speak about the nation’s continuing supply chain crisis, Biden concluded with a “God bless you all,” then turned to his right, muttered something that looked like a greeting, and mimed a handshake, before turning his back completely to the gathered crowd, pausing, and eventually wandering off the stage with his head down.

Liberal fact-checkers have predictably come to the defense of the president, calling the move a simple hand gesture, which is entirely possible but does not change the fact that he looked like he was shaking hands with thin air.

And this wasn’t the only questionable moment of the day.

During the speech, Biden recalled that he was previously a “full professor” at the University of Pennsylvania.

“I’ve been at a lot of university campuses,” the president said. “Matter of fact, for four years, I was a full professor at the University of Pennsylvania.”

Joe Biden never taught a class at the University of Pennsylvania, but this isn’t the first time he has made the claim.

As previously reported in BizPac Review, in a February interview with Boston College history professor Heather Cox Richardson, Biden remarked, “You make me miss being a professor at Penn… I really enjoyed teaching and writing.”

It’s impossible to know why the president continues to repeat this lie, leaving some to wonder if he actually believes it to be true, but the fact is that, after establishing the “Biden Center” in 2017, he was handed an honorary professorship — a role that required about a dozen public appearances at high-priced campus events, but it never involved teaching any classes.

Moments such as these — ones in which the president looks completely lost and in need of guidance — are becoming all too frequent.

Just last week, Biden could be seen shuffling through a crowd that was welcoming former President Barack Obama back to the White House for the first time since leaving office, seemingly searching for someone to acknowledge his presence.

The meme machine was in overdrive following Biden’s latest apparent brain freeze, but for many, the behavior has gone beyond being simply “disturbing.”

“This needs to STOP now!” wrote one Twitter user. “It is not funny, it is not sad, it is scary as hell! God help our country!”

“If full retirement age is 66, no one should be running for office past that age… regardless of party,” tweeted another user. “I would go a step further and say everyone should be out of office before 66, so no one should be running past 62.”

“I’m not a fan of the guy, but in a way I’m actually sorry for him. #ElderAbuse,” wrote a third, while yet another user stated, “It is beyond time for a cognitive test.”
