DeSantis ad features ticked off Americans who sought refuge in Florida

Governor Ron DeSantis seems to be allergic to losing and, in another victory, his team released an ad in which people who are visiting Florida for Spring Break are admitting that the Sunshine State is far and away better than where they live.

The spot, “Vote Free, Be Free” features people from all over, including a New York transplant who has no love for her home state, lavishing praise on DeSantis.

“I’m a New Yorker,” one woman proudly announces. “And now I’m living in Florida.”

“Where do you think New York ranks on a freedom ranking across the 50 states?” DeSantis’ aide asks the woman, who admits that they’re “pretty much at the bottom.”

“Well, you’re number zero,” the aide quips, causing the woman to laugh.

Another woman was asked how she liked living in her home state of Pennsylvania. Wasting no time, she replies “I hate it.”

“We have the worst governor ever,” she continues. “I think Ron DeSantis should be the governor of Pennsylvania. Florida, you’re so lucky that you get to have Ron DeSantis as your governor.”

Many other people interviewed revealed that they moved to the state simply because of the governor. “People wanna be in the state of Florida,” one woman summarized.

And it would appear that social media shares the sentiment:
