Trump fumes over unfair treatment of kids: They won’t go after Biden’s son but they’ll go after my children

Former President Donald Trump continues to live rent-free in the mental crawlspaces of the Left and their sycophantic allies in mainstream media. On Wednesday, Trump slammed them all for pursuing his family while they tacitly ignore President Biden’s crookedly bent son, Hunter.

‘There’s never been anything like it in the history of politics in this country,” Trump said in a phone interview from his Florida home, according to Daily Mail. “It’s a witch hunt.”

Speaking to a small group of reporters, Trump pointed to the disastrous missteps that Biden has taken during his first year as president, and he condemned the January 6 commission for targeting not only his daughter Ivanka but sons Eric and Don. Jr, as well as the latter’s fiancée, former Fox News personality Kimberly Guilfoyle.

CNN breathlessly reported Tuesday that the House committee had obtained the phone records of Eric Trump and Guilfoyle in relation to the commission’s arguably farcical investigation of the events of Jan. 6, and New York Attorney General Letitia James continues to abuse her undeserved power by aiming her efforts at the Trump family while failing to find anything on which to build a case.

“It’s a disgrace what’s going on. They’re using these things to try and get people’s minds off how incompetent our country is being run,” Trump said via phone from his Mar-a-Lago headquarters in Florida.

“And they don’t care. They’ll go after children. They won’t go after Biden’s son but they’ll go after children that’ve done a great job,” he continued.

“You know Ivanka very well. You know the quality of her and the kids,” he said, adding, “They’re high-quality people that love our country. And for them to have to go through all this stuff is a disgrace. It’s a disgrace.”

Some Republican leaders (perhaps not enough of them) still want to know how Hunter Biden landed the high-paying role with the Ukrainian energy company Burisma as well as the glaring conflict of interest and peddling of power inherent in such an appointment. But double standards seem to be in place for political families, depending of course upon who’s looking into it.

Trump’s interview began innocuously enough, as he was promoting a new coffee table book titled, “Our Journey Together.”

Not surprisingly, U.S. supply chain problems have delayed the restocking of the initial printing of 200,000 copies that are reported to have quickly sold out.

Trump said his supporters want to be reminded of the way things were under his presidency.

“It’s become so successful and I really think it’s because people … they see what’s happening now, they want to go back to the past, despite the witch hunts despite the impeachment hoaxes,” he said.

In addition to his justifiable criticisms of Joe Biden, the former president also had some choice words for his detractors. In fact, many of them are captions that accompany photos in the new book.

‘Then-Governor Andrew Cuomo of New York who was forced out of office without, surprisingly much of a fight. I gave New York everything it wanted, including hospital ships, rooms, thousands of ventilators, and ultimately vaccines,” reads the caption from a photo of Cuomo in the Oval Office.

The caption that accompanies a picture of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg dining at the White House is particularly rich with Trump’s unique personality.

“Mark Zuckerberg would come to the White House and kiss my ass,” reads the caption. “His censorship is terrible for America. His ‘campaign contributions’ even worse.”
