The shocking incident at a Texas synagogue over the weekend, when a gunman stormed into the house of worship and took worshippers hostage, received the typical misleading coverage from the media, including outlets that glossed over important details that could shed light on both the perpetrator and the woman who may have served as his inspiration.
A tense hours-long standoff at the Congregation Beth Israel in Colleyville, a city in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, ended with all hostages safe and Malik Faisal Akram, a 44-year-old British Muslim shot dead by police after he reportedly demanded the release of convicted terrorist Aafia Siddiqui who is serving an 86-year sentence in a Texas prison.
The Pakistan-born Siddiqui, aka “Lady al Qaeda,” was convicted in 2010 on charges that she attempted to kill U.S. service members in Afghanistan after she was arrested in connection with an alleged al Qaeda “mass casualty attack” and had documents showing how to make “dirty bombs, chemical weapons and how to weaponize the Ebola virus,” according to a report by Fox News.
Siddiqui, who also reportedly has ties to 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Muhammad, is also a rabid antisemite but people would never know it from reading an Associated Press profile on her which neglects to mention her hatred of Jews, a major omission considering the nature of the Texas synagogue incident.
What AP didn’t bother mentioning is that she informed jurors that she was “boycotting” her own trial unless Jews were excluded, “If they have a Zionist or Israeli background…they are all mad at me,” she said. Siddiqui also told a Manhattan federal judge, “I have a feeling everyone here is them – subject to genetic testing….They should be excluded if you want to be fair,” according to the New York Daily News.
“Lady Al Qaeda” also reportedly wrote a letter to the warden at the Federal Medical Center, Carswell, which she asked to be passed on to Barack Obama that was chock full of antisemitic tropes: “Study the history of the Jews. They have always back-stabbed everyone who has taken pity on them and made the ‘fatal’ error of giving them shelter. … and it is this cruel, ungrateful back-stabbing of the Jews that has caused them to be mercilessly expelled from wherever they gain strength. This why ‘holocausts’ keep happening to them repeatedly!”
But you won’t get that context from AP and some took to Twitter to slam the outlet’s “F**king disgraceful” reportage.
Your “closer look” left out some pretty important details, no?

Like how do you write up the backstory of a woman whose imprisonment inspired a man to take hostages in a synagogue and not include these parts. Fucking disgraceful. @AP should be ashamed. pic.twitter.com/0nWz6qf30S

FYI the terrorist is trying to free a horrible Anti Semite.
Siddiqui tried to fire her lawyers because of their Jewish background.
Siddiqui later demanded that jurors in her trial be DNA tested to prove they weren’t Jewish.

Important information about her, views and bigotry.https://t.co/M42Bafe12x

Way to ignore her virulent antisemitism including demanding DNA tests of jurors to make sure none were Jewish and blaming Jews for her conviction.

So was it a conscious decision to omit the fact that she was a virulent antisemite? You idiots didn’t think it germane with the da t that her brother CHOSE a synagogue to take hostages?

Not only was the media running cover for antisemitic terrorists but the FBI came under fire as well for remarks by FBI Special Agent in Charge Matt DeSarno who downplayed the idea that Akram could have been motivated by animosity for Jews.
In another story, AP reported, “DeSarno said the hostage taker was specifically focused on an issue not directly connected to the Jewish community and there was no immediate indication that the man had was part of any broader plan, but DeSarno said the agency’s investigation ‘will have global reach.’”
That brought an angry reaction from some on Twitter led by conservative talk show host Jesse Kelly who called for the disbanding of an agency that has become politicized to the point where some have come to believe that it functions as a “personal Gestapo” for President Joe Biden.
“The FBI is now an organization solely focused on destroying the domestic enemies of the Democratic Party.” Kelly wrote, “Any Republican Congress or Presidential candidate who doesn’t loudly proclaim his intention to massively reform or disband this organization should not be considered.”

There remains a possibility that Akram, who has been described by his family as having “mental health issues,” may have been a part of a larger plot after UK authorities arrested two teens who may have been connected to the synagogue incident.

According to a report by the Daily Mail, “He was described by his family as suffering ‘mental health issues’ but concerns over a wider plot grew last night as two teenagers were arrested over the incident by anti-terror officers in south Manchester.”
“The pair, both believed to be under 18, cannot be identified for legal reasons. They were still in custody overnight, Greater Manchester Police said,” according to the Daily Mail.
When it comes to lies, the greatest are often those of omission and few do it better than mainstream media which has failed America due to an obvious political agenda.
