If Kenosha once again erupts in flames this week, Rep. Cori Bush should receive credit for providing fuel for the fire after the far-left Democrat’s dangerous gaslighting on Twitter dialed up the emotion on an already tense situation.
With the trial of Kyle Rittenhouse winding down and a verdict forthcoming on the young man who is battling for his freedom after defending himself during last year’s riots in the idyllic mid-American city, the Missouri congresswoman added to simmering tensions when she ventured into the past to uncork a provocative claim about the 2014 Ferguson riots to egg on those who are gullible and prone to violence.
Bush, who despite being a raging Black Lives Matter activist, was able to gain control of a House seat in the fully-radicalized Democratic Party, ripped the scab off of the Ferguson unrest that erupted after teenaged hoodlum Michael Brown was shot to death while attempting to gain control of a local police officer’s weapon.
On Monday, Rep. Bush tweeted that she had marched in the protest while stating that “white supremacists” hid behind a hill to fire on them during the ensuing mayhem that drew massive media coverage, supercharged the BLM movement and was cynically politicized by then-President Barack Obama, his “wingman” Eric Holder, and other Dems in the months before the midterm elections.
“When we marched in Ferguson, white supremacists would hide behind a hill near where Michael Brown Jr. was murdered and shoot at us,” tweeted Bush, blatantly lying that Brown was “murdered” by the police, a wildly fraudulent assertion that even Obama’s own Justice Department did not agree with.
She added, “They never faced consequences,” and “If Kyle Rittenhouse gets acquitted, it tells them that even 7 years later they still can get away with it.”

They never faced consequences.
If Kyle Rittenhouse gets acquitted, it tells them that even 7 years later they still can get away with it.

Backing up Bush’s irresponsible statement was Trans Black Lives Matter activist Ohun Ashe, whose Twitter bio states that she is a “Level Black Identity Extremist” and who tweeted “This is FACTS! I vividly remember hiding under porches in Canfield as shots were fired at us. No one came to help us. We would come from under porches using cars as shields in between gun shots to make it out.”

However, no actual proof exists to back up the “Squad” member’s sensational claims
Ferguson Police Chief Frank McCall Jr. had no knowledge of the alleged shootings that Rep. Bush is referring to. “Not that I’m aware of,” he is quoted by the St. Louis Post Dispatch.
The dubious veracity of Bush’s incendiary claim ignited a firestorm of criticism on Twitter.
Lies. https://t.co/r1IFnBKDxv

There were shootings at Ferguson protests–but it didn't come from "white supremacists" and protesters weren't targeted. But there's no need for a citation for this claim. No mainstream outlet is gonna fact check Cori Bush https://t.co/kePxmcp74u https://t.co/A6Kztuxzfo

This is an absolute lie.
I guarantee this never happened.@CoriBush is a sitting Congresswoman blatantly lying to the American people to stoke rioting and looting.
She could not be worse if she tried. https://t.co/khJgYHzKzO

Remember when Cori Bush claimed she was introducing a resolution calling for the expulsion of certain Republican members of Congress in response to events of Jan 6th — but her resolution was actually dated Jan 5th?

Rep. Cori Bush, a Democrat, spreads disinformation about a “white supremacist” shooting in Ferguson she says she survived.
Jeffrey Williams was convicted for the shooting during the Ferguson BLM riots. He shot two police officers. https://t.co/csOGaxmvWp pic.twitter.com/Ex5ve2Z0nb

I remember this too… I was riding on my pet unicorn and decided to give a leprechaun and one of Santas elves a ride to the 7-Eleven so they could get a Slurpee… they never had one before so I thought what the heck… that’s when the shooting started.

I wonder if Cori Bush also believes that theory that white men wear blackface and go shooting gang members in Chicago every weekend https://t.co/0A4RTCNwEe

It’s true. There she was. It was her, Brian Williams, Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson, MLK, Rosa Parks and Harriet Tubman. Luckily the white supremacists, who usually are well trained in shooting, missed all their targets and no one was hurt. Frederick Douglas has it on video.

And there was nobody there that could get cell phone video of this happening?

That’s when Brian Williams landing in a helicopter avoiding the Klan shooting at them rescued Cori Bush under a hail of gunfire

Cori Bush thinks you’re stupid enough to think that under the obama DOJ the groups of white supremacist were shooting into unarmed crowds of black people in Ferguson Missouri and nothing happened https://t.co/xWRe7B3dIE

Last year’s fiery riots in Kenosha were another one of the far left’s attacks on property and businesses that marked the summer of racial retribution after the death of George Floyd that sparked widespread violence while receiving nearly universal approval from media, sports and entertainment figures as well as corporate sponsorship.
Rittenhouse’s encounter with three white thugs, one of whom was a serial pedophile who the teen believed was going to murder him, took place during that carnage and the prospect of his acquittal has state and local officials fearing a sequel if the “right” verdict isn’t arrived at; Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers has mobilized the National Guard in anticipation of another leftist rampage.
It bears noting that Bush just announced that she is running for reelection next year and her supporters will likely be energized if she is able to play the victim card if she is blamed for any carnage that may occur in Kenosha.
