A social media “star” was arrested by the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) on Friday after running a red light and leading the officers on a high-speed chance in excess of 100 miles per hour.
In a video released by the FHP, a Dodge Challenger can be seen waiting at a stoplight in Pasco County before 18-year-old Damaury Mikula did a “burn-out,” causing the tires to smoke before he ran the red light and zoomed away from the patrol car.
Despite the trooper flipping on the patrol car’s lights and sirens, Mikula failed to pull his dark grey muscle car over until he pulled into his garage.

“Mr. Mikula advised his state of mind was that he is young, makes a lot of money, and has a fast car and he can do whatever he wants,” Trooper W. Kelly said, according to WFLA. “Mr. Mikula advised he wanted to do something fun for three seconds, and it cost him.”
The trooper knocked on Mikula’s door and he answered, the Fox affiliate WTVT reported. The social media personality gave permission for the trooper to have his vehicle towed from his garage. He later admitted that he was aware that the officer was trying to pull him over but thought it would be possible to escape punishment if he sped away.
He also conceded that he was being thoughtless and perhaps didn’t make the best decision.
Many reactions to the story pointed fingers at social media for being the culprit of such a cavalier attitude.

He says he has lots of money? He does not even own the house he was arrested at that he calls home. He is nothing but a spoiled wannabe that has followed the wokness of so many Tiktok and YouTubers that think acting wokey will get them a lot of money. Get a fucking job, nitwit!

Although Mikula seems to have let his micro-stardom go to his head, one pint-sized social media influencer retired from her gig mocking Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) after critics of the “Mini-AOC” flooded the family with death threats and harassing messages in 2019.

“Ava will not being doing any more MINI AOC content,” the girl’s stepfather, Salvatore Schachter explained. “The Left’s Harassment and death threats have gone too far for our family. We have been getting calls on our personal phone numbers. For our safety and for our child’s safety, we deleted all Mini AOC accounts.”
“We had to delete our accounts because the threats, harassment, negativity and hate directed at Ava and our family grew too much to bear,” he said. “The calls, texts, posts and emails from angry, hate-filled people were quite frankly, disturbing.”
