Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich, a Republican, is being slammed on social media for acting silly instead of enacting “justice.”
In a video posted early Friday morning, he swung a nunchuck around on the basis that the public apparently “want[ed] the nunchucks.”
While his nunchuck skills were admittedly impressive, his decision to flaunt them on social media left some Arizonans confused and angry.

Some critics accused Brnovich, who’s currently running to unseat Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly, of not being focused on what they say truly matters.
What they appear to want specifically is for the AG to deliver the fabled “Kraken.”
“With all due respect AG, we want to see arrests – literal crooks being perp walked in hand cuffs. Now, not later,” Arizona state Sen. Wendy Rogers, a Republican who’s been seeking to overturn the 2020 election, tweeted.
“We want indictments. We want arrests. We want justice!” Kari Lake, a Trump ally and Arizona gubernatorial candidate, added.

Their track record suggests that they want Brnovich to arrest the state’s Republican election officials for not going along with their movement to overturn the election.
Two months ago, Rogers called for the entire Maricopa County Board of Supervisors to be arrested for rejecting an election audit that had been conducted by Cyber Ninjas.

The following month, Lake disputed the results of the 2020 election during an appearance on former Trump administration official Sebastian Gorka’s radio show.
“We need to get to the bottom of what happened in 2020, because nobody with any commonsense believes what we were told about this election is true. We’re going to find out very soon in the coming days what the forensic audit reveals. And we may find out that the winner we were told really wasn’t the winner,” she said.

Both clearly distrust the official results of the 2020 presidential election and would like Brnovich to take some sort of action. They’re not alone.

I remember a time, a while ago now, when justice departments upheld the rule of law. You pretty much knew if you committed a crime that you would face arrest, prosecution and conviction.
This kept people from committing crimes. It was pretty straight forward.

However, according to The Hill, Brnovich has been doing something. Audit results were released last month reportedly showing that the 2020 election had been on the up and up. The AG nevertheless issued a letter to the Arizona state Senate and to Maricopa County officials demanding to see the evidence for himself.
“The Arizona Senate’s report that was released on Friday raises some serious questions regarding the 2020 election. Arizonans can be assured our office will conduct a thorough review of the information we receive,” he said at the time.
That being said, not every critic’s complaint has centered on the 2020 election. Some critics complained because they felt that, given Brnovich’s Senate ambitions, he should be directing his attention toward the country’s ongoing crises.
“Most senate candidates are talking about inflation, energy, the border crisis or the supply chain crisis. This unserious clown is posting childish videos,” GOP operative Arthur Schwartz tweeted.
