‘I’m not anti-vax… I’m just pro-immune system’: ‘Fuller House’ actress sets record straight, haters pounce

Proud Christian conservative and former “The View” host Candace Cameron Bure, a fierce longtime critic of vaccines, is pushing back against accusations that she’s “anti-vax” by arguing that she’s in fact “pro-immune system,” among other things.

On Friday, she uploaded a series of images to Instagram that pithily laid out her thoughts on the matter. Each image contained two short sentences, with the first one being the accusation — “I’M NOT ANTI-V” — and the second one being her rebuttal.

The rebuttals read as follows:

  • I’m just pro-medical freedom.
  • I’m just pro-informed consent.
  • I’m just pro-immune system.
  • I’m just pro-early intervention.
  • I’m just pro-sunlight, exercise, real food, & vitamins.

She included a lengthy caption going into more detail.

“This. This is not about what I am against. This is what I am FOR. Read and understand the distinction 🙏🏻. This mama is holding the line and standing up for freedom,” she wrote.

“This should not separate us. We can have different opinions and still respect and love one another. Be bigger than that!” she added.

Bure has long been a critic of vaccines and a fierce supporter of religious exemptions. When then-California Gov. Jerry Brown signed a “mandatory vaccine law” in 2015 banning parents from citing personal/religious exemptions to avoid their getting their children vaccinated, she cried foul:

Bure’s post from this past Friday hinted at an important point that even pro-vaccine advocates have noted, which is that far too many so-called “experts” have placed their focus solely on promoting the vaccine versus promoting better overall health.

This is an issue because coronavirus deaths are prominent among those with preventable pre-existing conditions like diabetes and obesity.

It’s also an issue because the vaccine doesn’t provide surefire protection from the coronavirus.

A study published in The Lancet last month found that “those hospitalized with the most critical breakthrough cases are on average about 80 years old and tend to have pre-existing conditions including obesity, cardiovascular or lung disease, type 2 diabetes or they may take immunosuppressants,” as reported by Cincinnati station WLWT.

But these sorts of facts tend to get ignored by “experts” who, instead, spend their days incessantly shrieking at others to get vaccinated, as if the vaccine itself is all that’s needed to thoroughly protect the body from the virus.

Bure clearly disagrees with this stance, though in her case, she’s also uninterested in the vaccine and would rather rely on everything else.

This, of course, has made her public enemy number one to the vitriolic left, including disabled leftists who accused her of being “ablelist” for being able to partake in “sunlight, exercise, real food, & vitamins.”

Their criticisms fit a pattern of leftists demanding that the majority adjust their lifestyles to appease the fanatical demands of a minority of zealots.

It’s the same phenomenon happening right now to comedian Dave Chappelle. A minority of leftists are demanding that Netflix drop his latest special because it contains jokes (and facts) that offended them.

Likewise, Bure’s seething critics are now demanding that the Hallmark Channel drop its ties to her.
