Journalist Megyn Kelly soundly smacked former David Frum, President George W. Bush’s former speechwriter, after he attacked her on social media for showing concern over 5-11-year-olds being forced to get the jab.
“You don’t have to be an ‘anti-vax extremist’ to have concerns re vaccinating a little one who has [very] little risk from COVID,” Kelly tweeted on Monday.
“You *do* have to be some kind of an a–hole to demonize any parent concerned about forcing minor kids to take a vaccine that’s had no long term testing,” she asserted.
Frum jumped into the fray after Kelly included a retweet from him proclaiming that it would be a mistake to allow an “anti-vax extremist” any “space and time” because the jab is proven to be safe. He also contended that states should “immediately make anti-COVID vaccination a requirement for school, sports leagues, etc.”

Frum then made fun of the wildly popular host of “The Megyn Kelly Show” and insinuated that she was “anti-vax” when she responded to his attacks.
“Personal abuse from @megynkelly is a heavy burden to bear, but somehow I’ll try to find the strength to carry on,” Frum’s tweet read. “@megynkelly wants to insist she is not ‘anti-vax.’ That’s good. She should in that case be encouraging her fan base to protect themselves by vaccinating – not scoring cheap social-media engagement by inciting them against the vaccine that will protect them and their families.”
Kelly was not deterred by Frum’s specious attack. She hit back at him and hard, writing, “Aww, @davidfrum says he’s being ‘abused’ by me. Poor little David. As for your 5-year-old into whose arm he wants to force a needle with an experimental vaccine whether you want it or not? That’s A-ok w/him.”

“Listen to any one of the shows I’ve done on COVID & you will hear me say I’m pro-vaccine & think everyone should get vaccinated,” she stated in another tweet.
“(Including last Friday’s.) Kids are different. Covid risk is lower, heart risk is more concerning. In short: [please] study your a– from your elbow.”

The back and forth was triggered by an AP report covering COVID vaccinations for young children.
“For elementary school-aged kids, Pfizer tested a much lower dose — a third of the amount that’s in each shot given now. Yet after their second dose, children ages 5 to 11 developed coronavirus-fighting antibody levels just as strong as teenagers and young adults getting the regular-strength shots,” Dr. Bill Gruber, a Pfizer senior vice president, told the AP.
“The kid dosage also proved safe, with similar or fewer temporary side effects — such as sore arms, fever or achiness — that teens experience,” Gruber claimed.
“I think we really hit the sweet spot,” the pediatrician asserted.
Kelly has fearlessly gone after Hollywood and other so-called leaders when it comes to COVID mandates on her Sirius XM show. She has valid concerns regarding COVID vaccinations for little ones and she let Frum know exactly how she feels about the practice. His attempt to disparage Kelly will likely only serve to strengthen her resolve and intensify her reporting on the subject.
Kelly is a rock star on social media and certainly has more of a spine than those such as Frum:
The risk of the vaccine is higher than the risk of Covid for kids in this age group. Time to stand up. Enough is enough! pic.twitter.com/M7HbrF93hO

It is unreal to me that people can even think otherwise. Thank you.

Risk:benefit ratio people!
Also common consensus among scientists is that at least 60% of children have been exposed to covid already – so any vaccine has even less benefit and increases risk:benefit ratio!
There a lot of misinformed people on this thread!— Dominic (@dom_sunshine) September 20, 2021
My boys (7 & 9) had Covid in December. Natural immunity aside, I’m still not keen on them being required to take an experimental emergency vaccine engineered for adults. I don’t think that makes me a fanatic or radical. RT if you agree 👌

So spot on & well said. I don’t know if it’s fear or panic or a lack of faith in God Almighty, but people have lost their minds over this.I don’t see parents with huge concerns over regular childhood vaccinations. We all had them & gave them. This is new. W no long-term testing.

9 kids of 15 in my son’s class (1st grade) had it in 1 week as well as the teacher(prvt schl). Sniffles for all. My son never got it but 8/9 wore masks to school(my son does not and never will). No vaccine needed here. Amazing phenomenon. Country gone INSANE

It’s hard to resist punching down sometimes, I know, but he is so far beneath you, you could scrape him off your shoe.

If I looked like him I’d be intimidated by you and not know what to do either. I’m sure he or one of his people has some stock involved somewhere. Fully vaccinated not anti vax just anti d-bag!!!

David, it is not personal abuse if someone expresses a differing opinion. Instead, it’s called freedom to express yourself and let everyone decide for themselves. I like that about America. Unless Twitter censors it, of course.
