Meghan McCain scolds Kamala for shameless PR stunt at dad’s memorial: ‘If you really want to honor my dad…’

Kamala Harris may have been packed off to Southeast Asia while the White House struggles to contain the damage over the catastrophe in Afghanistan, but the giggly vice president is using the trip to bolster her image in the event that she is called on to take over for the flailing Joe Biden.

She crossed off one item on the list when she paid homage to deceased Senator John McCain, a man who built his entire political career on his time spent as a prisoner of war after his plane was shot down in Vietnam. Harris staged a shameless photo-op where she laid flowers at a memorial in Hanoi that marked the crash site on the third anniversary of his death from brain cancer in 2018.

McCain’s five and a half years at the infamous Hanoi Hilton immunized him from criticism during his 35 years as a Washington politician, most of which was spent in the Senate where he was the nation’s foremost advocate for war and earned him the bipartisan support that made him one of the most cherished figures to ever swim in the great D.C. swamp.

Harris said that the former senator was an “extraordinary American” who lived a hero’s life as the masked veep laid a bouquet of flowers at the memorial and the media ate it up despite the fact McCain himself would have been furious and disgusted at the way that the Biden administration is cutting and running on Americans who remain stranded in Kabul and who, like him, could face imprisonment and torture by a cruel and vicious enemy.

One who wasn’t as impressed was McCain’s daughter Meghan who, despite her recent departure from ABC’s popular daytime talk show “The View,” has tried to stay relevant by upping her Twitter game as a critic of Biden’s raging four-alarm dumpster fire of withdrawal from Afghanistan.

McCain launched an airstrike on Harris, calling her out for hypocrisy and shaming her for the cynical use of her father’s legacy for political purposes while Americans are only days away from being abandoned by the Biden administration in Afghanistan.

“If you want to honor my dads legacy on this anniversary of his death – you would spend every second making sure every single American and Afghan ally is out of harms way,” she tweeted.

McCain, who last week likened President Biden to “Jimmy Carter on acid” has called for “every single person in the Biden administration be dragged in front of congress and held accountable for this. Every single one.” That would presumably include the vice president.

Twitter wasn’t kind to McCain with one user pointing out the fact that her mother Cindy was picked by Biden to be his ambassador to the United Nations Agencies for Food and Agriculture, a reward for her loyal support during the campaign. Mrs. McCain was recently a guest on “The View” where she bragged about how proud that she was to have helped defeat former President Donald J. Trump who was hated by Senator McCain.

McCain also compared Harris to the psychotic “Joker” character portrayed by Joaquin Phoenix in the 2019 box office hit after the veep’s cackling when asked by a reporter about the ongoing crisis in Afghanistan, writing that she reacts to “every SINGLE crisis situation like she’s waking onto a late night show.”

One thing is for certain, and it is that regardless of how many public relations stunts that Harris engages in, she is in no way prepared to be POTUS and would be even worse than the current Oval Office occupant, which speaks volumes about her lack of qualifications and general unfitness for the job.
