Thanks to his “patronizing” behavior, California Rep. Jared Huffman just earned himself a spot on Florida Rep. Byron Donalds’ list of “privileged liberals.”

Donalds, a black Republican, got into a feud with Huffman, a white Democrat, after the California rep started harassing him Wednesday for not wearing a mask.

According to Daniella Diaz of CNN, the two “got in a yelling fight outside the House floor” after “Huffman (wearing a mask) yelled at Donalds and said he was selfish for not wearing a mask.”

FYI, Huffman is reportedly vaccinated.

In response, Donalds reportedly yelled back, “Don’t be worried about me! Mind your business!”

And that was it. The feud ended.

Except that instead of just letting bygones be bygones, Huffman couldn’t resist jumping onto Twitter to virtue-signal to his 15,000 followers about how Republicans are bad.

“I just had to take a different elevator because an unvaccinated, defiantly unmasked GOP colleague doesn’t give a sh*t about anyone but himself,” he tweeted, earning himself 1,800 likes.

Look:

Donalds did not let that slide. He promptly hit back, though to his credit, he abstained from using the race card. He could have easily made it about a white liberal lecturing a black conservative, but he chose not to.

“Adding @JaredHuffman to the growing list of privileged liberals patronizing me for being a free-thinking American,” he tweeted about five minutes after Huffman.

His list apparently also includes CNN’s Chris Cuomo and Brianna Keilar.

“Mind your business; I said what I said,” the congressman added.

Look:

But once again, Huffman felt compelled to keep the feud alive.

“No, just for being selfish. And rationalizing it in a way that’s scientificallh [SIC], factually and morally wrong,” he replied.

Again, he’s been vaccinated.

Look:

Donalds responded one last time by urging Huffman to simply mind his business.

“The real epidemic in America is liberals continuing to tell free people how to think.  Jared, mind your business and I’ll mind mine,” he pleaded.

After that tweet, the Republican congressman let the issue go.

But Huffman predictably didn’t.

In another virtue-signaling tweet, he lectured Donalds some more before claiming he cares about his Republican colleague and simply doesn’t want him to get sick.

Look:

This isn’t the only incident that’s occurred since House Speaker Nancy Pelosi issued a new mask mandate, and it’s not likely to be the last.

The “mask wars,” as they’ve been called, will likely continue in perpetuity because of the innate desire by liberal Democrats to control other people, as well as the innate desire by conservative Republicans to be free.

Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert is one such Republican. During a separate incident Wednesday, she reportedly “threw” back a mask after being handed one by a presumably Democrat staffer.

Boebert, for her part, claimed via a spokesperson that she’d “returned it with a quick slide across the table.”

Either way, the message was clear: She’s a free woman, and she will not comply with the diktats of Democrat control freaks. Neither will Donalds.
