If leftists thought they’d get an apology from actress Megan Fox for Trump comments, they were WRONG

Self-described huge UFC fan Megan Fox is apparently unwilling to let the woke mob bully or cancel her for using the words “legend” and “Donald Trump” in the same sentence during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

An apology, groveling or otherwise, is the usual Hollywood-required response when someone in the entertainment industry departs, even slightly, from the liberal narrative, but Megan Fox did not go there.

In underscoring that her comments did not constitute a political statement, the Transformers star posted a definitive Instagram story to her nearly 13 million followers.

The Fox social media message came in response to backlash in response to which she decried the “pitchfork” and “witch-burning” mindset of those apparently still suffering from Trump derangement syndrome.

Megan Fox was an eyewitness to President Trump’s grand entrance at an MMA fight where he was met with a loud chorus of mostly cheers from the audience there primarily to see the main-event bout between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier.

“I do not align myself with any political party or individual politicians. I never said Donald Trump is a legend. I said he was a legend…in that arena (key part of the sentence). The arena was filled with UFC fight fans. Many of them clearly Republican, based off the insane crowd reaction he received walking into the T-Mobile venue. That was an observable fact. Not my opinion,” Megan Fox explained on Instagram.

“Really loving this uneducated, mid-evil pitch fork carrying, burn a witch at the stake mentality though. The world needs more of that,” the actress concluded sarcastically about the cancel culture.

As alluded to above, the woke contingent evidently had a meltdown after Fox’s appearance on the Kimmel show during which she talked about sitting near President Trump at UFC 264 in the VIP section at the T-Mobile Arena in the Las Vegas area on July 10.

“I was in a row with [Justin] Bieber, and Trump was also in my row. And I’ve never seen a Secret Service in person before. So, he had like 30 Secret Service with him. He was a legend. That arena was, like, very supportive of Trump when he came in.”

“I was like, ‘I don’t know how I feel about this, because if someone is a target, then I’m like, I could get harmed because I am like adjacent to where he is.’ So, I was worried about my own safety, that’s all I was caring about,” she quipped.

“But yeah, I’ve never seen anything like that before. It was crazy.”

If Trump-misanthrope Kimmel was hosting in his usual spot, who knows how badly he would have been triggered. It so happened that he had the night off. Guest host Arsenio Hall didn’t say anything immediately.

Later in the interview, Megan Fox, 35, pivoted to another topic, that being her” journey” while on Ayahuasca, the hallucinogenic brew people seeking self-discovery have taken under the guidance of a shaman. Fox likened it to going “to hell for eternity.”

“Wow; it’s crazy to have that experience and go to hell and then you go to Vegas and sit next to Trump,” Arsenio Hall joked.

Megan Fox is divorced from Brian Austin Green of Beverly Hills 90210 fame, with whom she has three kids. She is now dating musician Colson Baker (a.k.a. Machine Gun Kelly).
