Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-NC) issued a stark warning in an interview during CPAC that President Joe Biden’s alarming call for door-to-door vaccinations could also lead to the government seizing guns as well as confiscating Bibles.
“Now, they’re starting to talk about going door-to-door to be able to take vaccines to the people,” Cawthorn pointed out. “Think about the mechanisms they would have to build to be able to actually execute that massive of a thing. And then think about what those mechanisms could be used for. They could then go door-to-door and take your guns, they could go door-to-door and take your Bibles.”
“If 2020 taught us one thing, authoritarianism is on the rise,” the young Republican firebrand advised during an interview with the Right Side Broadcasting Network on Friday as the Conservative Political Action Conferences (CPAC) kicked off in Dallas, TX.
Cawthorn’s warning follows Biden’s statement on Tuesday that “we need to go to community by community, neighborhood by neighborhood, and oftentimes, door to door — literally knocking on doors — to get help to the remaining people protected from the virus. Look, equity, equality, it remains at the heart of our responsibility of ensuring the communities that are the hardest hit by the virus have the information and the access to get vaccinated.”

“So, as we shift from the centralized mass vaccination sites where we were doing thousands of people a day, we’re going to put even more emphasis on getting vaccinated, in your community, close to home, conveniently, and in a location you’re already familiar with,” Biden concluded.
White House press secretary Jen Psaki stated that the president was encouraging volunteers at the local level to go door-to-door pushing people to get vaccinated, not federal employees. Many conservatives do not believe that the campaign will only take place locally, they contend that the federal government will be hip-deep in it.
One Republican pushing back against the move is Gov. Henry McMaster (R-SC). He penned a letter on Friday to the state’s Board of Health and Environmental Control asking that it “issue direction to agency leadership and to state and local healthcare organizations prohibiting the use of the Biden Administration’s ‘targeted’ ‘door to door’ tactics in the State’s ongoing vaccination efforts.”
He also contended in the letter that “enticing, coercing, intimidating, mandating, or pressuring” individuals to get inoculated would further erode trust in the government.
Rep. Lauren Boebert called the door-to-door vaccinators “needle Nazis.”
Biden has deployed his Needle Nazis to Mesa County.
The people of my district are more than smart enough to make their own decisions about the experimental vaccine and don’t need coercion by federal agents.

GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene called the vaccinators “medical brown shirts.”
Biden pushing a vaccine that is NOT FDA approved shows covid is a political tool used to control people.
People have a choice, they don’t need your medical brown shirts showing up at their door ordering vaccinations.

The White House Coronavirus Response Coordinator Jeff Zients is hitting back at Republicans over what the Biden administration is labeling as misinformation concerning their vaccine distribution effort. He called it a “disservice to the country and to the doctors, the faith leaders, community leaders, and others who are working to get people vaccinated, save lives, and help end this pandemic.”

Psaki also took a shot at conservatives such as Cawthorn over the campaign.
“The failure to provide accurate public health information, including the efficacy of vaccines and the accessibility of them to people across the country, including South Carolina, is literally killing people, so maybe they should consider that,” she snapped in a public statement.
