China trolls the US, exploits Independence Day violence with anti-Second Amendment tweet

China’s largest state-owned newspaper mocked freedom in the United States on Independence Day with a cartoon that shows an armed individual dancing on a victim’s grave and it backfired in spectacular fashion.

Xinhua News Agency tweeted the cartoon which on one side showed two Americans celebrating their freedom, while a shooter on the other side brandished guns next to a grave that is marked “death from firearm.” Attempting to ridicule America’s lack of Marxist gun control, it was captioned, “How a gun-happy nation spends its #FourthOfJuly weekend.”

Individuals on social media dragged the communist country for the cartoon. Considering that China has over a million Uyghurs Muslims and others in concentration camps where many, many die, their attempt at reprimanding America over gun violence is facetious, to say the least. They are reportedly still carrying out the genocide of Uyghur Muslims in Xinjiang. China is notorious for human rights violations as well as torture and murder of dissidents. Ironically, most Chinese will never even see the cartoon due to censorship under the country’s oppressive dictatorship. Twitter is banned in China.

There were violent crimes involving shootings in a number of major U.S. cities over the holiday weekend which China attempted to brazenly capitalize on. Approximately 184 Americans perished in gun-related violence and 464 were injured according to the Gun Violence Archive. Most of the nation’s major cities are experiencing a surge in violent crimes allegedly due to progressive policies that release criminals or don’t charge them in the first place. It is also a result of law enforcement shortages and anti-police sentiment.

That was not the only anti-American propaganda that China ran mocking our Independence Day. The Chinese-backed Global Times also published an editorial entitled, “US celebrates Fourth of July amid uncertainties, anxiety.”

The author mocked America for our response to the pandemic, “America celebrates as about 12,000 new cases of the coronavirus spread with 200 people dead in just a single day.” He also took potshots at the Surfside tower collapse and rescue efforts.

Propagandists for the communist regime also took to Twitter to accuse the United States of racism.

China is cracking down on freedom especially in Hong Kong. They are also moving closer to seizing Taiwan and they are making aggressive moves in the South China Sea. The Chinese Communist Pary has recently shut down the last pro-democracy newspaper in Hong Kong after police raided its headquarters and arrested a number of executives.

On July 1, Beijing held a massive celebration to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese Communist Party at a secret 1921 meeting in Shanghai.

“Follow the Party Forever” is now their slogan. President Xi Jinping constantly touts China’s swift rise from poverty to world power status. News media and movies are filled with coverage of China’s triumphs, while anyone who dissents disappears or is silenced. Xi has made it abundantly clear that he now views China as equal to the United States. The dictator is seen as a leader preparing his nation for war with a declining American superpower that has a very weak leader at the helm.

China was the recipient of mockery themselves on Twitter after attempting to burn the United States on social media and instead burning themselves:
