An on-air lecture from Jake Tapper to America that alluded to the Republican Party’s “downright falsehoods and lies,” and “made-up convoluted crap” that surfaces in the “MAGA media,” suggests that perhaps CNN should formally register as an arm of the Democrat Party.
Recall that Tapper is an employee of a relentlessly negative network that spent years pushing a Trump-Russia collusion hoax based on flimsy anonymous sources, as well as reporting various Democrat talking points as news.
“Too many leaders of the GOP are all-in on just pure nonsense,” he asserted. And because he is so concerned about the viability of two-party system, the GOP needs to recast itself as a “fact-based” party, a sanctimonious Tapper claimed.
On the network that former President Trump famously branded as “very fake news.”
Politicians on both sides of the aisle make mistakes and embellish all the time, as do news outlets. Tapper seldom, if ever, holds Democrats or liberal pundits accountable for the nonsense they spew. Instapundit’s Glenn Reynolds often refers to today’s journalists as “Democrat operatives with bylines.”
Tapper seemed really upset that top GOP officials like House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy and GOP Chair Ronna McDaniel pushed two stories that turned out to be inaccurate: President Joe “Hamburglar” Biden’s alleged anti-meat climate agenda, and Vice President Kamala Harris’ book being distributed to children at a border facility.

“I’m not talking about opinions,” Tapper railed. “If people want to rail about Biden’s border policies, or his six trillion dollars worth of proposals, or whatever. Have at it. That’s not what I’m talking about.”
“I’m talking about made-up, convoluted crap,” he insisted.
Tapper was also triggered about the election audit that is currently taking place in Maricopa County. Ariz.
An outraged Tapper went on to lament how, according to polls, almost 50 percent of GOP voters are supposedly not inclined to get the COVID-19 vaccination. Tapper, who has a B.A. in history, then called out Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wisc.) “with zero medical expertise” for allegedly contradicting pro-vaccine health experts.
He then played a soundbite in which Johnson suggests the vaccine distribution should have been limited to “the vulnerable”
As CNN’s ratings continue to diminish, Tapper’s real target, listening between the lines, perhaps seems to be the conservative-leaning media. He expressed sympathy for Never Trumpers like Mitt Romney and Liz Cheney.
“The incentive structure in the Republican Party, and its media, does not punish those who spread bad medical advice or lies. In fact, quite the opposite. Telling the truth as a Republican official can be hazardous to your political health.
“It is my opinion that the United States needs a healthy, thriving, fact-based Republican Party. It is difficult to look at these events, all of them just from last week, and conclude that we have one,” Tapper closed out his newfound concern for the best interests of the GOP.

Last month, Jake Tapper was ridiculed on social media after he came across as Major League Baseball’s PR department in trying to justify the MLB decision to pull the 2021 All-Star Game from Atlanta, especially given that CNN is headquartered in that city.
