Defiant Jason Whitlock disputes Twitter’s take on temporary lock after dinging BLM leader

Independent journalist Jason Whitlock found himself temporarily suspended from Twitter, after sharing a link to a story that detailed the real estate acquisition of the BLM co-founder, in what the social network reportedly admits was a mistake.

In the aftermath of being placed in Twitter jail, a defiant Whitlock, however, said “I’ll never apologize for speaking the truth,” along with some stronger language.

Parenthetically, many users have noticed that these “mistakes” by the platform almost always only go one way, and that leftists seem to be granted free rein without any concerns for de-platforming or censorship, no matter how inflammatory their messaging.

The eyebrow-raising revelation that “trained Marxist” Patrisse Cullors purchased a pricey home in an upscale Los Angeles-area enclave (one of four homes she reportedly owns) gained wide traction on social media, along with many users posting the link to the original story from the celebrity real estate website Dirt.com.

For some reason, however, Whitlock’s tweet attracted the attention of the Twitter police.

“Black Lives Matter founder buys $1.4 million home in Topanga, which has a black population of 1.4%. She’s with her people!,” Whitlock originally wrote somewhat irreverently (as is his online style), on Friday, April 9. His account was purportedly put on hold at around 4 p.m. that same day.

Whitlock, the former ESPN and Fox Sports personality who most recently worked for the Clay Travis-founded Outkick website for about eight months, received the suspension for apparently revealing someone’s personal information in violation of Twitter policy.

“There was no explanation of how linking to the Dirt.com story revealed personal information as neither the story, nor Whitlock’s tweet, listed an address – and the purchase also was discussed widely elsewhere on Twitter and reported throughout the press,” the Daily Mail noted, however.

According to a follow-up tweet shared by Whitlock’s former Outkick colleague Ryan Glasspiegel, Twitter has acknowledged that it made a mistake and unlocked his account.

Along with citing an adage that alludes to doing time in prison, Whitlock noted that he never appealed the so-called violation.

In another comment that may have separately triggered blue-check Twitter, Whitlock implied that he found Cullors’ living arrangements rather interesting, if not hypocritical.

Whitlock, who makes regular appearances on Fox News, is a longtime critic of the Big Tech/mainstream media progressive agenda and the politicization of sports by the woke contingent, including virtue-signaling millionaire athletes obsessed with obtaining Twitter applause.

While at Outkick, he was a prolific columnist addressing these and other related issues. After moving to Nashville to join up with Outkick, Whitlock subsequently left the company after a financial dispute with one of Travis’ other partners emerged.

“BLM is one of Big Tech’s sacred cows. I’ve been harping on the fraudulence and the financial grift of BLM for years. I think Twitter has been looking for an excuse to de-platform me,” Jason told the Daily Mail before he was reinstated.

Although Whitlock has described himself as an apolitical nonvoter, he does a YouTube show called “Politickin'” with co-host Curtis Scoon (who himself has been suspended on Twitter from time to time for questioning the liberal narrative).

Before his suspension was lifted, Whitlock told Scoon that “I’m still in Twitter jail because I won’t post bail…I’m not running to go post Twitter bail when I did nothing wrong.”

He also said at that time that it was pointless to delete the tweet, and he was taking a wait-and-see approach (which subsequently proved wise).

“They want you to remove the tweet to start your 12-hour sentence…Why should I remove the tweet when you can’t access the tweet? They’ve made it so you can’t get it.

“The tweet has already been disappeared by Twitter. Why do I have to remove it to start the clock on my jail time? And so literally I sat back and said, ‘I’m going to do nothing, and just let’s see where this story goes.'”

Socialists “want the state to own all the property, but [Cullors] is out buying property all across the country, and she’s acting like a capitalist,” he added, among other commentary, during the show.
