In response to being fired upon on Twitter by “Squad” member Rep. Ilhan Omar this Thursday, South Carolina Rep. Nancy Mace fired back with “guns” ablazing.

The feud, which erupted only a few short hours after Mace’s feud with fellow “Squad” member Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez concluded with Mace being victorious, was inspired by Omar taking offense to something she’d tweeted.

A day earlier on Wednesday, Mace posted a tweet calling out House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for her dangerously hyperbolic rhetoric about her GOP colleagues.

Look:

This tweet apparently offended Omar.

See how she responded below:

Omar was referencing the past actions of Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene.

Prior to being elected to office, Greene showed up at the Capitol to try to force Omar and fellow “Squad” member Rep. Rashida Tlaib to retake their congressional oaths on a Bible versus the Koran.

And during the 2020 general election, the Georgia lawmaker ran a campaign ad that showed her pointing a gun at photos of the “Squad” as she declared that she would be their “worst nightmare” if elected to office.

Note that these actions occurred before Greene was elected to office and took her own congressional oath.

Responding to Omar’s tweet, Mace fired back by reminding the Minnesota lawmaker of some of the uncouth, inappropriate actions that she’s taken since she took her own congressional oath.

Look:

During her 2020 election campaign, Mace and several other now-elected freshmen portrayed themselves as a potential conservative “squad” against the left.

In response, Omar sarcastically tweeted, “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.” Mace fired back at the time by calling out the Minnesota congresswoman’s notorious antisemitism.

Look:

Her description of Omar as “anti-Israel” was putting it lightly.

Both Omar and Tlaib are seen as hardcore antisemites whose political careers have been rocked with back-to-back scandals over their antisemitic rhetoric.

But unlike Greene, who was stripped of all of her committee assignments Thursday over her past actions, Omar and Tlaib have never once been held accountable for all the antisemitic rhetoric they’ve spewed after being elected to office.

This despite Omar’s antisemitism in particular being so gross that she was named the “Antisemite of the Year” three years ago by StopAntisemitism.org:

In explaining why, the non-profit noted in a press release that she’d accused Israel of having hypnotized the world, accused Jews of buying influence with money, compared Israelis to the Nazis and been endorsed by neo-Nazi David Duke.

House Democrat leaders were repeatedly encouraged to at least censure the congresswoman, but they refused at every opportunity — choosing instead two years ago to issue a vague condemnation of antisemitism.

Even after Omar used an antisemitic trope against one of her fellow Democrat colleagues — Jewish congresswoman Rep. Nita Lowey — as seen below, House Democrat leaders still refused to act.

Meanwhile, the same Democrats who refused to act then have had no qualms about evoking Greene’s past comments and using them to not only punish her, but also disparage the entire Republican Party.

Nor have they even thought twice about accusing Republican Sen. Ted Cruz of trying to kill them, smearing a U.S. Capitol Police officer, supporting the deadly Black Lives Matter riots of last year and describing their own colleagues as “enemies.”
