CNN propagandists bemoan ‘minimization’ of Capitol attack, defend pathetic coverage of summer riots

CNN propagandist Brian Stelter is upset that some members of the “far-right” have allegedly been minimizing the riot at the U.S. Capitol in “9/11- ‘truther'” fashion.

“Far-right personalities are trying to minimize the Capitol attack and divert blame away from President Trump,” Stelter, whose official title is “media correspondent,” complained in a report filed Thursday.

Despite the propaganda pushed by Stelter, the question over whether or not President Donald Trump deserves blame for the Capitol riot is a legitimate one, ergo why the majority of House Republicans refused this week to vote to impeach him for it.

Furthermore, while it’s true that some members of the “far-right” have been minimizing the riot by, as an example, falsely blaming it on Black Lives Matter and Antifa extremists — though to be fair, evidence has emerged that at least one BLM/Antifa extremist did indeed take part — the mainstream right has had no qualms about holding the Trump supporters who’d comprised the vast majority of the rioters accountable.

Case in point:

But what makes Stelter’s propaganda particularly cunning — as usual — is his either oblivious or purposeful lack of any introspection whatsoever.

As noted visually by the New York Post‘s Jon Levine in the tweet below, the entire mainstream media spent months upon months minimizing, downplaying, defending, and at times even promoting the deadly, horrific BLM/Antifa riots of this past summer.

To Stelter’s credit, he did admit the “fiery but mostly peaceful protests” chyron seen above was a mistake. But still …

To this day, his own employer, CNN, continues to defend the riots, despite them having lasted seven months and led to hundreds of small businesses being vandalized or destroyed, 150 federal buildings being damaged, 700 police officers being injured, and 23 people being killed.

On Wednesday, fellow CNN propagandists Chris Cuomo and Don Lemon practically called the BLM/Antifa riots “justified.”

Stelter himself took part in the minimization that occurred over the summer.

“Watch Fox News for a few hours, and you might think rioters are still prowling America’s biggest cities, smashing windows and stealing handbags. You might think Minneapolis is still burning. You might think the unrest is getting worse,” the propagandist shamelessly asserted on June 10th.

“In the Fox & Friends and Hannity alternative universe, the rioting is still a present-tense threat and could restart at any time. This is contradicted by every news report from every other outlet. The story now is about peaceful, powerful, sustained protest all across the country. But “riot porn” video is irresistible to Fox’s producers and hosts, even though the video is out of date now.”

He said this only days after rioters demolished Minneapolis, among other cities, in late May. Throughout the summer, other riots and acts of vandalism and violence popped up all across the country, from Portland, Oregon to Kenosha, Wisconsin.

An unimaginable number of people were hurt, from business owners who lost everything, to local residents like the disabled Minneapolis woman seen below who cried in agony during an interview at the time, with local station KSTP.

Watch:

Did Stelter give a damn? Did anyone at CNN give a damn? It seems not. Stelter spent much of the summer continuously running defense for the rioters while ignoring the pain and suffering forced upon innocent victims like Stephanie Wilford.

Look:

Yet he’s had the audacity to complain about fringe elements of the “far-right” minimizing the U.S. Capitol riot? It’s this stunning disingenuousness that has made Stelter a pariah on the right — someone who is unanimously viewed with pure disdain.

FYI, he also defended the autonomous zone in Seattle where a 19-year-old black man, Horace Lorenzo Anderson Jr., was murdered.

After the murder, Anderson’s father was invited onto Fox News to pour his heart out. CNN meanwhile chose to run other stories.

Dovetailing back to Stelter, the general consensus is that he’s not a real journalist or “media reporter” — unless being a “media reporter” entails endlessly slamming Fox News while ignoring or covering up the mistakes of the mainstream press – but rather a propagandist.

Though to be fair, so are all of his colleagues
