John Weaver, one of the co-founders of the Never-Trump group Lincoln Project, is being accused online by multiple young men of attempting to ‘groom’ them and others for sex.

The accusations came on the heels of an op-ed by Forbes’ chief content officer and editor, Randall Lane, who called for President Donald Trump’s former communications officials including Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Kayleigh McEnany to be denied employment.

In response to Lane’s call, Stuart Stevens, who is listed on the group’s website as an adviser, claimed in a tweet Friday the Lincoln Project is “constructing a database of Trump officials” so “they will be held accountable & not allowed to pretend they were not involved.”

Politics writer and author Ryan Girdusky responded to Stevens’ tweet claiming that a “founding” member of the Lincoln Project has been “offering jobs to young men in exchange for sex…his wife is probably interested.”

“The member followed me on twitter briefly and a few young men started sending me screenshots and telling me what happened to them,” he noted in a follow-up post. “Grooming is really disgusting and he was especially sloppy.”

Girdusky was referring to Weaver, apparently, though BizPac Review has not been able to verify his or any of the other claims made against the Lincoln Project founder.

Following Girdusky’s tweets, some of which were retweeted by Donald Trump Jr., several other young men began posting about Weaver’s alleged advances.

“I am going to deflate all of the air out of this right now, because Ryan is clearly taking joy in what happened to some of these people in order to attack his opponents. I know who did it, because they did it to me. It was John weaver,” a user named Josh Price wrote.

“Imagine not outing an actual predator just because you want views n clicks lol,” another user wrote. “I was around when my friend [Josh] was getting harassed by John weaver and what happened to him isn’t fodder for e-cloud bud.”

Another user suggested the others’ claims were accurate regarding Weaver’s alleged behavior, adding that it was an “open secret” and that he was astonished it hadn’t been reported yet.

John Weaver DM’ed and followed virtually every young gay on this site. Even I was reached out to on an old account, but not sexually,” the user wrote. “One of my friends has even shared with me that John Weaver raped him years ago. It’s incredible how open of a secret this is but no reporting.”

“The lack of impartial reporting has made the open secret a tool leveraged by right wing anti-Lincoln Project activists who care little about his victims,” the user continued.

“I get how sh**ty and risky it is to call someone a rapist when you aren’t the victim personally and aren’t identifying the victim, but given the sheer number of his victims, I have no qualms.”

And Scott Steadman, an investigative journalist, also wrote of his alleged experiences with Weaver in a long Twitter thread that included screengrabs of direct messages.

“One day, he DM’d me and said he had ‘advice’. He then proceeded to tell me how ‘hot’ I looked and commented on my profile picture and my hair. He started calling me ‘my boy’. I found it deeply uncomfortable,” Steadman wrote.

“I’m telling this story because I know there are more people who endured this kind of grooming with many more explicit details. As the Lincoln Project continues to grow financially, I felt compelled to share,” he wrote.

He then added: “Since posting this thread 25 minutes ago, I’ve gotten multiple DMs of people telling me they experienced this (and worse).”
