Pitchfork mob goes after Charlie Kirk because he bussed peaceful people to Trump rally in DC

Much like the left has for years conflated illegal immigrants with those who come to America legally, so too, are they now conflating more than a hundred thousand peaceful Trump supporters with a small faction that stormed the U.S. Capitol.

Democrats and their corrupt media allies continue to exploit a protest that got out of hand, calling the incident an insurrection, a planned coup to overturn the U.S. government — it was neither. In doing so, they are looking to purge notable conservatives who stood behind President Donald Trump.

 

High on that list is Charlie Kirk, founder of the conservative student group Turning Point USA. One of the few countering forces on college campuses, which serve as little more than indoctrination centers for the radical left, Kirk and his organization have long been a target, but the liberal mob really turned up their efforts after last week’s protest.

In what was more about good taste than trying to hide something — rest assured, Kirk is intelligent enough to know that the internet is forever — the TPUSA founder deleted a tweet posted last Monday announcing they were sending more than 80 buses filled with Trump’s supporters to Washington, D.C.

“The historic event will likely be one of the largest and most consequential in American history,” the deleted tweet said. “The team at @TrumpStudents & Turning Point Action are honored to help make this happen, sending 80+ buses full of patriots to DC to fight for this president.”

After the violence at the Capitol, the term “fight” took on a whole other meaning than supporting President Trump’s challenge to an election marred by allegations of fraud, which is what Kirk was alluding to.

The left’s despicable twisting of the truth to fit a political narrative is not only seen as normal these days, it’s a fair description of much of the corrupt media establishment.

Those bussed in by TPUSA were already in the process of leaving DC as things began to get out of control at the Capitol, according to a spokesperson for the group’s sister organization, Turning Point Action.

The released statement also condemned last week’s violence, according to Daily Dot.

“Turning Point Action (TPA) did bus some students to the January 6th rally, which included a speech from the President of the United States. Following the president’s remarks, and in keeping with itinerary, TPA bused those students immediately out of the area,” the spokesperson said in the release. “No TPA buses were involved, nor did TPA encourage participation in the march to the Capitol. TPA’s leadership condemns political violence and immediately did so as soon as news broke of the incident at the Capitol Building.”

Kirk would also respond with a sharp rebuke of last week’s events in Washington.

“Our side shouldn’t act like ANTIFA. If these reports are true of what’s happening at the Capitol, it is no way to protest, no matter who is doing it,” he tweeted, as violence was breaking out.

Yet Kirk and thousands of Trump supporters who were in DC are now being openly branded as terrorists, seditionists, and traitors.

The deranged hatred of the right is not only dishonest, but it’s also unhinged to the point of evoking memories of some of the worst moments in human history.  Where is this country heading when elections have lost all meaning and truth no longer matters?

It doesn’t require much of an imagination to see that the left is trying to criminalize opposition to its political agenda — conservative opposition. The only problem being, they may not care for the consequences once they get there.
