Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., was the first of 12 Republican senators to announce that he would join with well over 100 GOP House members to object to accepting the electoral votes in a number of key swing states marred by voter fraud allegations, which will force debate and a vote.
With Democrats and their corrupt media allies billing this principled stance against serious concerns about voter fraud as an attack on our democracy, and even worse, sedition, the party’s de facto ground-force Antifa was stirred into action.
As Hawley noted in a tweet Monday night, “Antifa scumbags” besieged his home in Washington — a U.S. senator being targeted in such a manner by a violent domestic terrorist group is bad enough, but making matters worse, Hawley was back home in Missouri and his wife and infant daughter were home alone in DC.
“Tonight while I was in Missouri, Antifa scumbags came to our place in DC and threatened my wife and newborn daughter, who can’t travel. They screamed threats, vandalized, and tried to pound open our door,” Hawley tweeted. “Let me be clear: My family & I will not be intimidated by leftwing violence.”

The organizers took to Twitter to boast of their actions, sharing a video of their forces outside what is said to be Hawley’s DC home.
“We are not going to let people hold our democracy hostage,” a leader states in the footage. “We are not going to let them infringe on our rights. Every ballot has been counted. That is over.”
Surprise! We’re at Josh Hawley’s house holding a vigil for democracy #SeditionCaucus #VotersDecided #J6 https://t.co/qqI7KObubs

“So if our democracy is under attack, what do we do?” he asked. “When democracy is under attack, what do we do?”
“Stand up, fight back!” the mob of protesters cried back.
As seen below, the protestors go right up to the door of the home, though it’s difficult to tell what they are trying to do at the door. At one point, a man can be seen kneeling down in front of the door handle, but his body blocks his actions.
Sticking to the script, the unhinged activists justify their vile behavior by calling their opponents “fascists.” And racists, of course.
ShutDownDC responded to Hawley’s tweet calling him a “snowflake” — we can only assume this was not a racist slur about his white skin — for being concerned about his wife and baby.
Bulls**t!
This was no candlelight vigil, this was an attempt to terrorize @HawleyMO’s family, his wife & kids, and neighbors, you made that very clear.
This is what those leftist socialist anarchists want to do to this country, tomorrow Georgia gets a chance to reject them! https://t.co/9SQxe6bHlG pic.twitter.com/MBTsBRIeSf

The group claimed they were just holding a “candlelight vigil” — which gave the media its preferred narrative. They also embraced the “Antifa” label, saying: “We are absolutely and unapologetically anti-fascists.”
Right on cue, Washington Post reporter Mike DeBonis took care to tweet that the mob called the assault an “hour-long vigil.”
Sen. Hawley replied to DeBonis: “Now ‘vigil’ means screaming threats through bullhorns, vandalizing property, pounding on the doors of homes, and terrorizing innocent people and children.”

The group stated on its website that they “held an hour-long vigil at the Virginia home of Sen. Josh Hawley to demand that he drop his baseless contestation of the 2020 presidential election results.”
“We came to let Hawley know that his actions are undemocratic and unacceptable,” ShutDownDC activist Patrick Young said in a statement on the site. “Voters decided who they wanted to be president and now Hawley is trying to silence their voices, even after Republican election officials certified the vote counts. And let’s not forget that the bulk of the votes they would throw out come from Black and brown voters. This is an attempted coup waged by silencing the voices of people of color.”
There also appeared to be a veiled threat to the thousands of Trump supporters who are expected to converge on Washington on Wednesday.
Stating that ShutDownDC called on area hotels to “close their doors to these people,” to no success, the group added this ominous message: “But hotel chains including Marriott, Hyatt, and Holiday Inn have refused. They, along with Mayor Bowser, Metro Police, and other officials who could have taken action to block the Trump protest, will be partly responsible for any violence and destruction that occurs on January 6.”
Violence we can be sure the corrupt media will pen on the Trump supporters.
