President Donald Trump is fed up with “pathetic” Republican leaders who “only know how to lose.”
The president unloaded his frustration with Republicans in a series of tweets on Tuesday as he reacted to the latest reports of “troubling discrepancies” in election data from Pennsylvania. After having the U.S. House of Representatives override his veto of the defense bill Monday, and with some GOP lawmakers publicly calling on him to concede the presidential victory to Joe Biden, Trump has understandably grown angry with his party.
Trump tweeted a quote from a Fox News report that claimed a group of Republican lawmakers in Pennsylvania said “200,000 more votes were counted in the 2020 Election than voters (100% went to Biden).”
The president noted this was “more votes than is needed by me to win Pennsylvania,” adding “not to mention hundreds of thousands of votes in other categories which increase my already big lead into a landslide.”
…more votes than is needed by me to win Pennsylvania, not to mention hundreds of thousands of votes in other categories which increase my already big lead into a landslide. All other Swing States show likewise. WE NEED NEW & ENERGETIC REPUBLICAN LEADERSHIP. This can not stand..

“WE NEED NEW & ENERGETIC REPUBLICAN LEADERSHIP,” Trump emphasized in all caps. “This can not stand.”
“Can you imagine if the Republicans stole a Presidential Election from the Democrats – All hell would break out,” he continued in posts that were flagged by Twitter as “disputed” claims.
“Republican leadership only wants the path of least resistance,” the president tweeted. “Our leaders (not me, of course!) are pathetic. They only know how to lose! P.S. I got MANY Senators..and Congressmen/Congresswomen Elected. I do believe they forgot!”

“A group of state lawmakers performing extensive analysis of election data today revealed troubling discrepancies between the numbers of total votes counted and total number of voters who voted in the 2020 General Election,” Pennsylvania state Rep. Russ Diamond said in a news release Monday, adding that they are “questioning how the results of the presidential election could possibly have been certified by Secretary of the Commonwealth Kathy Boockvar and Governor Tom Wolf.”
“The difference of 202,377 more votes cast than voters voting, together with the 31,547 over- and under-votes in the presidential race, adds up to an alarming discrepancy of 170,830 votes, which is more than twice the reported statewide difference between the two major candidates for President of the United States,” he added.

Certification Of Presidential Results Premature and In Error pic.twitter.com/0DvmOldx1u— Russ Diamond (@russdiamond) December 28, 2020
“These numbers just don’t add up, and the alleged certification of Pennsylvania’s presidential election results was absolutely premature, unconfirmed, and in error,” the group of state lawmakers said in a statement.
Trump was not just calling out GOP leaders over the election battle but other issues as well.
Earlier in the day, the president unloaded on the “Weak and tired Republican ‘leadership'” over their vote to overrule his veto of the National Defense Authorization Act. In an overwhelming vote of 322 to 87, the U.S. House of Representatives voted on Monday to override the president’s objections to the $740 billion defense package and the Senate is expected to follow suit.
Trump opposed plans in the measure to rename 10 military bases currently named after Confederate figures. He also sought to change section 230 of the Communications Decency Act which provides protections for technology giants such as Facebook and Twitter.
Weak and tired Republican “leadership” will allow the bad Defense Bill to pass. Say goodbye to VITAL Section 230 termination, your National Monuments, Forts (names!) and Treasures (inserted by Elizabeth “Pocahontas” Warren), 5G, and our great soldiers….
