President Donald Trump has doubled, tripled and quadrupled down on his claim of being the 2020 election’s rightful winner by releasing an adrenaline-packed “Fight for Trump” video and vowing to hold a “wild” protest in Washington, D.C. on Jan 6th.

Early Saturday morning, he tweeted out a news story about a “great” 36-page report written by Trump administration official Peter Navarro that breaks down all the fraud and irregularity allegations pertaining to the November race.

In captioning the tweet, the president wrote that the report proves it was “statistically impossible” for him “to have lost the 2020 election” and added that there’ll be a “big protest in D.C. on Jan. 6th,” the day Congress is slated to meet to finalize the results.

The 6th is indeed apt to be a wild day, with or without a protest.

The Electoral Count Act of 1887 states that if one House representative and one senator raise objections to the finalization of the election results, the House and Senate must then separately debate the matter.

Thus far only Alabama Rep. Mo Brooks has vowed to raise objections.

“I have a choice, I can either sit back and surrender and be a part of the surrender caucus, or I can fight for our country. And that’s what I’m going to do,” he announced on Fox Business Network’s “Lou Dobbs Tonight” last week.

“So on Jan. 6, I’m going to object to the submissions of Electoral College votes from various states that, in my judgment, have such flawed election systems that their vote-counts are unworthy of our ratification in the United States Congress.”

If Brooks were to convince just one senator to also raise objections, they’d be able to force the House and Senate into a debate. However, it’d then be contingent on them to prove to a majority of both chambers that the results are indeed fraudulent.

While no senator has vowed to raise objections thus far, Sen.-elect Tommy Tuberville has suggested that he might be the one to do so.

“You’ll see what’s coming. You’ve been reading about it in the House. We’re going to have to do it in the Senate,” he said while campaigning in Georgia last week for incumbent Sens. David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler.

If he does go through with the plan, the good news for both him and Brooks is that Navarro has already completed all of the hard work.

His report provides in excruciating detail example after example that, when combined, suggest there was “a coordinated strategy to effectively stack the election deck against the Trump-Pence ticket.”

“Indeed, the patterns of election irregularities observed in this report are so consistent across the six battleground states that they suggest a coordinated strategy to, if not steal the election, then to strategically game the election process in such a way as to unfairly tilt the playing field in favor of the Biden-Harris ticket,” Navarro wrote.

“If these election irregularities are not fully investigated prior to Inauguration Day and thereby effectively allowed to stand, this nation runs the very real risk of never being able to have a fair presidential election again – with the down-ballot Senate races scheduled for January 5 in Georgia an initial test case of this looming risk.”

Navarro appeared on Fox News’ “Watters World” late Saturday to share his thoughts about the findings.

“What I worry about is we’re going to go into Inauguration Day with the potential to inaugurate an illegal and illegitimate president when we already have a lot of the United States believing that the greatest democracy in world history can’t run a fair election,” he said.

“This is not a recipe for tranquility over the next four years, so I do believe a lot of Americans think that Joe Biden does not honestly represent them and does not have the consent of the governed.”

Listen:

Several other senators meanwhile haven’t outright rejected the notion of raising objections on Jan. 6th, meaning they might still sign on for it. They include Sens. Josh Hawley, Ted Cruz, Mike Lee and Rand Paul.

But on the other hand, two of the Senate’s top leaders — Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Senate Judiciary Committee chair Lindsey Graham — have reportedly confirmed that they definitely won’t be raising objections.

Dovetailing back to the president’s Twitter feed, pinned to the top of his page is a video published Saturday afternoon whose message is simple: “Fight for Trump!” to Save America” and “Save the World.”

The video specifically shows diverse crowds of people from across the world ostensibly chanting “Fight for Trump!”

The video was produced by White House Director of Social Media Dan Scavino.
