Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden was caught off guard Friday when he faced what may very well have been his first genuinely tough post-election question from him a Fox News reporter who asked him whether his scandal-plagued son, Hunter, has ever committed a crime.
In response, Biden stared back in confusion for a couple of seconds, prompting Fox News’ Peter Doocy to continue, “Have you spoken to your son, Mr. President-elect?”
About a second later, Biden finally responded.
“I’m proud of my son,” he said as he stepped off stage.

Biden didn’t stick around long enough to explain what exactly it is about his son that he’s proud of — the fact that he’s been under investigation for money laundering and tax fraud, the fact that photos/videos of him smoking crack can be found on the Internet or perhaps the fact that he allegedly made a fortune through criminal endeavors?
The brief question-and-answer occurred after Biden, Democrat vice-presidential nominee Kamala Harris and their “transition team” held a briefing to discuss picks for their Cabinet, assuming of course they win the 2020 presidential election.
Following the briefing, none of the sycophantic, far-left media outlets whom Biden’s team called on for questions asked about Hunter’s scurrilous activities.
“The Biden transition team faced no questions from reporters during their weekly briefing Friday about the ongoing federal investigation into Hunter Biden’s taxes,” Fox News confirmed afterward.
“During the virtual briefing, incoming White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki took a handful of questions from outlets like CNN and The Huffington Post on subjects ranging from the rollout of the president-elect’s Cabinet picks to when he’ll be getting the coronavirus vaccine.
Doocy was forced at the end to holler out the question about Hunter.
One of the only times the media ever asked Biden about his son was in October, when Bo Erickson of CBS News simply asked the Democrat nominee for his response to the New York Post’s bombshell reporting at the time..
In response, Biden accused him of waging a smear campaign — and surprise, surprise, dozens of left-wing activists, “experts” and media figures quickly rushed to slam Erickson with similar, baseless accusations.

At the time, the information about Hunter was limited to just allegations — albeit highly credible allegations backed by emails, photos, videos, etc.
The allegations were essentially upgraded this week when Hunter himself admitted that he’s been under investigation by federal authorities.
“I learned yesterday for the first time that the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Delaware advised my legal counsel, also yesterday, that they are investigating my tax affairs,” he said in a statement published Wednesday.
“I take this matter very seriously but I am confident that a professional and objective review of these matters will demonstrate that I handled my affairs legally and appropriately, including with the benefit of professional tax advisors.”
But it was later learned that he’d downplayed the reality of the situation.
“The federal investigation into President-elect Joe Biden’s son Hunter has been more extensive than a statement from Hunter Biden indicates, according to a person with firsthand knowledge of the investigation,” Politico confirmed.
“In addition to Delaware, the securities fraud unit in the Southern District of New York also scrutinized Hunter Biden’s finances, according to the person with direct knowledge of the investigation.”
Investigators in Delaware and Washington are also reportedly “probing potential money laundering and Hunter Biden’s foreign ties,” while investigators in Pennsylvania are “conducting a criminal investigation of a hospital business in which Joe Biden’s brother James was involved.”
Meanwhile, a US. Senate committee released a damning report this week detailing “consistent, significant and extensive financial connections among and between Hunter Biden, James Biden, Sara Biden, Devon Archer, and Chinese nationals connected to the Communist regime and PLA as well as other foreign nationals with questionable backgrounds.”
“These connections and the vast amount of money transferred among and between them don’t just raise conflicts of interest concerns, they raise criminal financial, counterintelligence and extortion concerns,” the report reads.

Of course, this report has been completely ignored by the mainstream press — likely because, as argued this week by conservative commentator Ben Shapiro, they are nothing more than “Democratic mouthpieces.”
Genuine journalists like Peter Doocy, on the other hand, not so much.
