Ivanka tweets ‘amazing photo’ of dad she had to know was going to drive the left bonkers

Having endured a relentless, four-year-long campaign of persecution at the hands of the corrupt media establishment, a campaign certain to extend beyond Jan. 20, 2021, regardless of who’s inaugurated as the 46th president of the United States, the Trumps deserves credit for holding up as well as they have.

Mocked and ridiculed, attacked over every minor occurrence, down to the choice of shoes they may wear, with the endgame being to discredit President Donald Trump, it would be understandable if the family was bitter and withdrawn.

But that’s far from the case. In fact, you may even say the Trump family tries to have fun with the deranged hatred of its patriarch, as a tweet Monday from first daughter and White House senior advisor Ivanka Trump may suggest.

Ivanka Trump shared a photograph of her father smiling amid a backdrop of Mount Rushmore, the angle and dimensions working just right to suggest how a Trump bust may look on the mountain.

Speaking of persecuting the Trump family, Ivanka tweeted last week that she spent over 5 hours in a deposition about rates charged by the Trump Hotel during the 2016 presidential inauguration.

“This ‘inquiry’ is another politically motivated demonstration of vindictiveness [and] waste of taxpayer dollars,” she added, after noting that an email shows the hotel was instructed to charge “a fair market rate.”

Somehow, you just know that in sharing the image above, Ivanka was fully aware it was going to make the left go bonkers, which may earn her another title: master troll.

The president tweeted a similar photo back in August, in response to a typical media-generated controversy.

Trump tweeted the image after yet another media hit-job to undermine his status in the eyes of the American people, this time by the New York Times, which claimed he reached out to South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem about having his face added to Mount Rushmore.

Never mind that it’s a federal monument.

After CNN regurgitated the anti-Trump propaganda, the president responded to deny the claim.

This is Fake News by the failing @nytimes & bad ratings @CNN,” he tweeted. “Never suggested it although, based on all of the many things accomplished during the first 3 1/2 years, perhaps more than any other Presidency, sounds like a good idea to me!”

Whether Trump’s head is ever carved into the face of Mount Rushmore remains to be seen.

What is far more certain is that the Trump-hating media will never give him credit for all the accomplishments he pulled off amid constant resistance from the media and the Democratic Party.

Back to Ivanka’s tweet, it would be an understatement to say that it triggered the left.

Which is not to say there wasn’t plenty of positive responses to the possibility.

As for the triggering, here’s a sampling of responses from Twitter:
