Newt Gingrich: ‘Republicans have to turn out more votes than Stacy Abrams can steal’

The GOP can win both U.S. Senate runoffs in Georgia, but “Republicans have to turn out more votes than Stacy Abrams can steal,” former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich told the Fox & Friends crew.

Georgia native Gingrich added that absent voter fraud, President Donald Trump probably carried Georgia. “I believe that the election process is a mess. I really wish the governor would call a special session to clean it up…I think [the GOP] will probably keep both seats, but every person who is worried about the future of the country from a conservative standpoint has to go vote, and that’s the number-one challenge…”

“The key to a Republic victory is to have more votes than the left can steal,” Gingrich added.

The stakes couldn’t be higher for America. If Incumbent GOP Sens. David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler lose on January 5, the U.S. Senate will be split 50-50, which means Kamala Harris, should she become vice president, could cast a deciding vote on key legislation, thereby ushering socialism, given that the Dems are narrowly still controlling the U.S. House.

In outlining various voting irregularities in Election 2020, Gingrich chided the asleep-at-the-switch Republican Georgia secretary of state for entering into a “crazy” agreement with failed gubernatorial candidate Abrams about accepting mail-in ballots without signature verification.

Although ballot harvesting is supposedly illegal in Georgia, Gingrich claimed that the Republicans “are spending an enormous amount of energy monitoring” drop boxes that Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger is nonetheless allowing.

Gingrich also highlighted the statistical anomaly in Georgia where just 0.3 percent of unverified absentee ballots were thrown out as compared with 3.5 percent in Election 2018, which doesn’t add up. “The difference is three times Biden’s margin, but nobody can explain it…”

“I spent a lot of time in Georgia politics. I have never seen an election that was this blatantly disorganized and this blatantly in favor of being stolen,” Newt Gingrich concluded.

He also recalled how in key swing states around the country, mail-in ballots suspiciously left the lower offices blank. “They only have one vote for Biden. Now, you might think that’s because, if you are trying to steal votes, it’s more efficient to just mark one for Biden, and I think in state after state we are seeing examples of this kind of basically old- fashioned ballot-box stuffing but done on a scale that we have never seen before.”

Gingrich also praised Sen. Loeffler’s overall, disciplined Sunday night debate performance against far-left Democrat Raphael Warnock, including her ability to avoid getting dragged into the feud between President Donald Trump and Gov. Brian Kemp over election integrity. Gingrich liked what he heard when she said, “I represent Georgia; I work for Georgia,” during the debate with her liberal rival.

The ex-Speaker noted that despite the back and forth between Trump and Kemp, the governor along with the state legislature — plus the two senators– support signature verification of some kind. “Ultimately, this is going to look different than it did in round one.”

“State lawmakers could call a special session on their own, but only if 60 percent of members in both houses of the General Assembly demanded a session in writing. That’s unlikely because more than 40% of the state House are Democrats,” Fox News noted in the context of the GOP governor’s curious unwillingness to call lawmakers into session to assess the voting process.
