Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden’s rush to transition into the White House based on unofficial projections from the media is being challenged using his own words.
During the first 2020 presidential debate in September, moderator Chris Wallace of Fox News bluntly asked Biden, “[W]ill you pledge not to declare victory until the election is independently certified?”
“Yes,” the Democrat nominee replied.
“And here’s the deal. We count the ballots, as you pointed out. Some of these ballots in some states can’t even be opened until election day. And if there’s thousands of ballots, it’s going to take time to do it.”
Listen:
Yet two months later, Biden has chosen to sing an entirely different tune.
“The people of this nation have spoken. They’ve delivered us a clear victory — a convincing victory, a victory for we the people. We’ve won with the most votes ever cast for a presidential ticket in the history of this nation,” he said during a “victory” speech delivered last Saturday.
The remarks were made after the media — who don’t actually decide the winner of any election, let alone the presidential election — prematurely declared him the winner.
Listen:
What changed, Joe?
As it stands, the outcome of the 2020 presidential election remains contested because of uncounted votes and because of the president’s legal challenges.
The president currently has multiple pending lawsuits in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, Arizona and Nevada. If the president wins one or more suits, the results in the corresponding states could change and tilt the election to him, not Biden.
“The campaign has filed at least 17 lawsuits in various state and federal courts,” the Associated Press reported Wednesday.
One of the more recent suits was filed Tuesday in Nevada and alleges that “illegal and ineligible ballots” were counted.
“The lawsuit includes assertions from poll watchers that their challenges were ignored or that they weren’t allowed close enough to the vote counting. Some say they saw apparent double-counting of some ballots,” the AP reported.
“Others alleged they saw signs of political bias, including poll workers rolling their eyes when they opened ballots with votes for Trump. Several people noted in affidavits that they saw poll workers or Democratic observers wearing masks or clothing supporting Black Lives Matter, implying that they therefore opposed Trump.”
Speaking together on Fox News this past Tuesday, Republican National Committee chair Ronna McDaniel and White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany claimed they have 500 sworn affidavits concerning 11,000 alleged acts of voter fraud.
“We keep hearing the drumbeat of where is the evidence but right here 234 pages of sworn affidavits, from real people, real allegations, signed with notaries. In one county, Wayne County, Michigan, in one batch of ballots, 60 percent had the same signatures, 35 had no voter record but were counted anyway, 50 ballots were run multiple times through a machine,” McEnany said on Fox News’ “Hannity.”
“One woman said her son was deceased but still voted. This is one county where our poll watchers were threatened with racial harassment, pushed out of the way, and Democrat challengers were handing out documents saying how to distract GOP challengers.”
Listen:
“It’s been rigged from the beginning, rigged from the laws that were being passed in the name of COVID to create a porous election, rigged in the sense that they kicked Republicans out of poll watching and observing,” McDaniel added.
“And now you have a media that’s rigging it again by saying we’re not going to even listen to these stories. That’s why the RNC is going to pursue this to the very end. We can never let this happen again. … These men and women matter. Their voices will be heard.”
But not according to Biden, who’s already prematurely declared victory and begun demanding the keys to the federal castle.
To be fair to the Democrat nominee, he’s not the only one practicing what appears to be unrepentant impatience and hypocrisy.
Case in point:
Riddle Me This?
The same folks that pushed for mail-in ballots to count toward the outcome even if received a week+ after the election are upset because Trump hasn’t conceded a week after the election?
Be cool…it will all be resolved shortly.

Is the election certified yet?
In 2000, your publication asked for patience and advocated for the legal process to work its way.
20 years later, you do the opposite.
Why?
Because this time it’s the Democrat party you must protect.
Democracy dies in #hypocrisy
